ANGE POSTECOGLOU GIVES HIS POST-MATCH THOUGHTS
"Super proud of the players’ efforts. It’s a difficult place to come, difficult conditions, people don’t realise the humidity out there, how energy sapping it is. I thought our football was outstanding at times in the first half, the only thing I could fault is we didn’t put the game to bed. We should have finished them off in the first half.
"Second half we sat off a bit and had to defend. But I never really felt threatened by it and we had our moments where with a bit of calm and composure we could have got our third goal.
"I really felt like we were still in control in the second half, we didn’t get opened up at any stage. We just need to be a bit more composed when we have the ball because we had some really good opportunities that ended up fizzling into nothing. If we had taken advantage of them we would have got the ultimate reward.
"There won’t be many teams that come here and dominate like the way we did in that period. We just needed a third goal, it’s hitting the post, coming off shins and going across goal. I am just disappointed the players and supporters don’t get the rewards for our efforts.
"They have to keep their heads up because there’s plenty to be positive about and the wins will come if we keep playing football like that."

LATE ANTONY GOAL SPOILS NOTTINGHAM FOREST'S EUROPE RETURN
Ange Postecoglou must have thought his Nottingham Forest side had this game wrapped up after 45 minutes. His side were only 2-1 in the lead, but they looked to be all over the away side.
Despite going behind early following a Cedric Bakambu rocket into the roof of the Forest net, the visitors didn't shake in confidence. They bounced back and netted two goals in quick succession as Igor Jesus made Chris Wood fear for his place as the starting No. 9.
The second half saw Betis dominate a lot of the play but Forest held strong and prevented them from doing too much damage... until the 85th minute.
Some brilliant work down the left flank saw Marc Roca through on goal. The angle was tight and his shot swung straight across the goal and Antony was there to spoil Nottingham Forest's parade.
Both teams can be proud of the game they played, showing positive signs throughout. But it will have left a bitter feeling in the hearts of the Forest fans after being so close to claiming their first European win in 30 years.

LUCY WARD ON THE RESULT
"I think when the dust settles they will see it as a good point but first half they were brilliant, then the level dropped a bit when Douglas Luiz went off and you can’t control a game in Europe for 90 minutes and Forest will learn very quickly."

TNT SPORTS ANALYSIS ON ANTONY'S GOAL
"It’s too easy. Zinchenko has a look and lets it go - you can’t do that.
"You have to take responsibility and try and get something on it because it’s too easy for Antony at the end."

FOREST HAPPY TO SIT BACK
"Forest have worked hard in this game. They are getting into the 4-4-2 shape when they have not got it and are quite narrow and compact, trying to keep Betis in front of them."

LIKE A ROLLS-ROYCE
"Elliot Anderson's looked like a Rolls-Royce out there tonight. He's been the best player on the pitch by quite some distance."
