BARCELONA GO NINE POINTS CLEAR AT TOP OF THE TABLE
Hansi Flick's side beat RC Celta 1-0 thanks to a Lamine Yamal penalty, but were dealt a huge blow as the 18-year-old left the pitch with an injury.
The match burst into life from the first whistle at Camp Nou, with both sides going close to scoring inside the first minute. Barcelona pressed and won the ball instantly following Celta’s kick off. It was then played into Yamal, who fired an effort into the side netting with just 15 seconds on the clock.
Just 30 seconds later, it was Celta’s chance to threaten. Pablo Duran smartly brought down a pass with his chest just outside the penalty area before rifling an effort on goal with his left foot, a shot which Joan Garcia had to dive across to tip behind for a corner.

The visitors then had a huge chance to take the lead in the first half when Hugo Alvarez slipped through a fantastic pass for Ferran Jutgla, who just had Joan Garcia to beat, but the former Barca man lost his composure and blazed his effort well over the crossbar.
Barcelona, who had yet to register a shot on target at this point, were awarded a penalty in the 40th minute when Yamal was brought down. Yamal burst into the penalty area and looked to skip past Yoel Lago, before being fouled by the Celta defender.
He then stepped up to slot home his penalty before immediately going down with an injury. The Spain international was then brought off and headed straight down the tunnel. The game was then halted due to a medical emergency in the crowd, and would not resume for more than 20 minutes.

Flick's side thought they had doubled their advantage when Ferran Torres found the back of the net with a sensational volley just before the hour mark, only to see it chalked off for offside.
The second half wasn't anywhere near as entertaining as the first, but Barcelona managed the task well, moving the ball and limiting Celta to just one shot on target and four touches in the area in the whole half, all without creating much in the way of clear-cut opportunities themselves.
It's a victory that takes Barcelona to 82 points, nine points ahead of Real Madrid in second place with six matches left to play. For European football-hunting Celta, they sit in seventh place, five points off Real Betis in fifth but just six points above Girona in 12th in what is an incredibly congested mid-table in La Liga this season.

    CROSSES THE KEY?
Celta have got forward a couple of times in the last few minutes, each time coming down the right-hand side and sending crosses in. They've yet to get the delivery right but that looks to be a viable option for their attack as they're finding lots of space.

    A DISJOINTED SECOND HALF
This has not been a smooth second half at all for the hosts. Hansi Flick's men look really disjointed and clunky both with and without the ball. The injuries to Joao Cancelo and Lamine Yamal certainly hasn't helped them in finding their rhythm.

    NO GOAL! OFFSIDE!
Ferran Torres' magnificent goal has been chalked off following a VAR review for offside. A real shame that Ferran can't add that one to his catalogue as that was a superb finish.

    A SLOWER SECOND HALF
After a very energetic start to the first half, the second period has been significantly more subdued. No shots for either side or any real chances to speak of.
