Everton picked up the first victory of David Moyes’ second reign at the club, producing a brilliant performance to beat Spurs 3-2 and pile more pressure on Ange Postecoglou.

Moyes’ side have now moved four points clear of the relegation zone, with Ipswich and Wolves still to play this weekend.

Whereas Spurs are facing a potential relegation battle themselves, as they remain 15th and winless in their last six league games. Postecoglou’s side have picked up just 24 points from 22 games this season, losing 12 of those.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his first Premier League goal since September to open the scoring, beating Archie Gray with some brilliant footwork before firing past Antonin Kinsky.

Iliman Ndiaye doubled the scoring not long after, moving past Radu Dragusin with ease, before firing into the roof of the net, as Spurs continued to capitulate in defence.

Everton piled even more misery on Spurs, as Gray turned the ball into his own net from Calvert-Lewin’s wayward header, to put The Toffee’s 3-0 up at the break.

Dejan Kulusevski’s delicate finish gave Spurs a glimmer of hope in the second half, before Richarlison made it 3-2 with only a minute to play.

Everton held on to pick up a huge victory and their first at home over Spurs in the Premier League since 2012, which ironically was under Moyes.
