The Professional Footballers' Association have announced their 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Year award shortlist, with the winner set to be announced at a ceremony in Manchester in August. The list features Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, new Chelsea signing Liam Delap, Dean Huijsen and his former Cherries team-mate Milos Kerkez, as well as Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers.

Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly and new Chelsea signing Liam Delap are among the nominees for the 2024/25 PFA Young Player of the Year award.
The award is voted for by the players at the end of each campaign, with the winner announced at a ceremony in Manchester on August 19.
The six-person shortlist also includes Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez, ex-Cherries centre-back Dean Huijsen, Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri and Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakout campaign at Arsenal at left-back, while he netted on his England debut against Albania earlier this year.
Meanwhile, his team-mate Nwaneri, who became the Premier League's youngest ever appearance maker at the age of 15 back in 2022, scored nine times in 37 appearances this season while operating as Bukayo Saka's understudy.

Elsewhere, Delap earned a £30 million move to Chelsea earlier this month after scoring 12 Premier League goals for relegated Ipswich.
Huijsen, moreover, enjoyed such a successful maiden Premier League campaign with Bournemouth that he was rewarded with a call-up to the Spain national team and a £50m move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

His former Cherries team-mate Kerkez is reportedly expected to move to Liverpool this summer after also impressing on the south coast this term.
Rogers registered 14 goals and 15 assists in all competitions as Aston Villa finished in a UEFA Europa League spot, reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League and the semi-final of the FA Cup.
