Spurs: Solanke sidelined 'for weeks' with knee injury

One player who will certainly not play a part for injury-hit Tottenham in their home match against Leicester City on Sunday is striker Dominic Solanke, as the club's injury woes go from bad to worse.

The 27-year-old missed Tottenham's defeat at Everton and, ahead of the must-win UEFA Europa League clash against Hoffenheim on Thursday, boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed that the England forward will miss the next few weeks.

"It was just one of those things," he said.

"It wasn't like it was even a challenge. It was just him trying to shoot and twisting his knee. It's just one of those things that, unfortunately, we're going through at the moment.

"We'll get the full extent of it. We're hoping that it is not too serious, but it will certainly keep him out for a few weeks."

Spurs are also expected to continue without Brennan Johnson and Yves Bissouma, who picked up knocks in last week's North London derby defeat. However, on a brighter note for Postecoglou, Cristian Romero has returned to training.

It is understood that the Leicester clash will come too quickly for the Argentine, with a return pencilled in for seven to 10 days.

Postecoglou has also confirmed that Micky van de Ven is "close" to a return, while Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario are expected to be out for the foreseeable future.

Arsenal: Updates on Saliba, Lewis-Skelly

Mikel Arteta has been speaking to the media ahead of The Gunners' trip to Wolves on Saturday, and the Arsenal boss has given updates on William Saliba and promising left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly, who both missed the UEFA Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb.

"With Myles, there is nothing serious on the scan," Arteta said. "We will have a meeting with the medical staff today."

As for Saliba - who was also absent for the damaging 2-2 draw against Aston Villa last weekend - Arteta revealed the defender could feature on Saturday but, like Lewis-Skelly, a return next week is a more realistic target.

Man City: Dias 'has an adductor injury'

It looks as though Ruben Dias will be absent from Man City's game against Chelsea on Saturday.

Guardiola revealed that the defender suffered an injury in the club's Champions League defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.

"Ruben Dias has an adductor injury. I don't know how long he'll be out for," Guardiola admitted.

"He's been stable and able to play a lot of games, but this season it is what it is."

Chelsea: Colwill, Fernandes 'to be assessed', Palmer 'better'

Enzo Maresca has given a positive update on Levi Colwill and Enzo Fernandez, who could both feature against Man City at Etihad Stadium.

"Probably Levi and Enzo could be ready [to feature against Man City]," he told reporters on Friday. "It depends on today’s session."

Cole Palmer was a doubt heading into last weekend's match against Wolves due to a knock on his ankle but managed 94 minutes against the strugglers, which Maresca was delighted with, as well as his progress.

"He is better. "He did an unbelievable effort to play against Wolves and he is getting better."

Nottingham Forest: Hudson-Odoi requires late fitness test

It has been a dream first half of the Premier League season for Nottingham Forest, who sit third in the table behind Liverpool and Arsenal.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has played his part for Nuno Espirito Santo's side and contributed with five goals so far this term, including a first-half strike in a 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday.

However, he was forced off a few minutes later with a tight groin. He will need more tests to confirm whether he is fit enough to face Bournemouth on Saturday.

"He felt his groin very tight. He was in a lot of pain," Espirito Santo said.

"He has been out for a couple of days. We have to assess and see whether he is available or not."

Man Utd: Latest on Mazraoui after Europa League omission

Noussair Mazraoui was not among the substitutes as Manchester United claimed a dramatic 2-1 win over Rangers in the Europa League.

According to the club's website, the full-back was "rested" as a precaution with boss Ruben Amorim saying it is "impossible" to compete across the Premier League and Europe with little recovery.
