Crystal Palace 1-3 Chelsea result - Estevao, Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez fire visitors to fourth in Premier League as 10-man Palace suffer more woe

Willian Estevao scored and provided an assist as Chelsea moved to fourth in the Premier League table with a 3-1 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The 18-year-old Brazilian forward punished a short pass back by Jaydee Canvot to race clear from the halfway line and fire the opener on 34 minutes before setting up Joao Pedro to add the second on 50 minutes.

VAR then got involved as Canvot was booked for an accidental handball in halting a certain third goal from the finish of Joao Pedro.

Referee Darren England reviewed the incident before Enzo Fernandez stepped up to convert the penalty with ease on 64 minutes.

Chris Richards headed a consolation for Palace on 88 minutes after Adam Wharton was sent off for a second yellow card after chopping down Moises Caicedo on 72 minutes.

While Liam Rosenior's Chelsea move a point above Liverpool in the standings, Palace remain winless in 11 matches in all competitions before they visit Nottingham Forest, who are three points behind Oliver Glasner's men in 17th spot, in a crucial match next Sunday.
