SPOILS SHARED AS LEEDS AND BRENTFORD PLAY OUT BORE DRAW
Leeds United and Brentford picked up a point each in a lacklustre Premier League draw.
Neither side carved out a clear-cut chance in 100 minutes. Although Leeds enjoyed more of the ball and spent the end of the game camped in The Bees’ half, they were unable to unlock the visiting defence.
Mathias Jensen had the best chance of the game when Igor Thiago set him clear early in the second half but a poor touch in the penalty area let him down and, though Brentford were under pressure for more of the game, they may rue the missed opportunity to pick up three points.
After defeats for Chelsea and Liverpool earlier on Saturday and Manchester United’s draw on Friday, Brentford remain three points behind The Reds who hold what’s likely to be the final UEFA Champions League place.
Meanwhile Leeds extend their gap to the relegation zone to four points but Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United all have a game in hand over Daniel Farke’s men.

FULL-TIME: LEEDS UNITED 0-0 BRENTFORD
Lewis-Potter struck that free-kick straight into the wall and though Kayode tried to wind up one more long throw, it comes to nothing and that's all she wrote! The spoils are shared.

ONE LAST CHANCE?
Ouattara is felled on the break and that gives Brentford what will surely be the last chance of the game, a free-kick about 25 yards out.

HUGE INTERVENTION BY THIAGO
He's not made the impact he'd have wanted up front but the Brazilian has been resolute without the ball in the last five minutes, and clears a dangerous cross to keep it 0-0.

FIVE MORE MINUTES
And they begin with Lewis-Potter staying down after a collision.

HUGE WASTE
James passes to nothing and Jensen intercepts, but Leeds come right back and win a throw in. They just can't find the all-important final pass.

FIVE TO GO
And this match doesn't deserve a dramatic winner.

DAN JAMES ON
Minutes after he slammed a clearance into Tankaka's face and almost giving Brentford a one-on-one, Struijk makes way for Dan James.

STATS AGAINST LEEDS?
Only Liverpool have scored more goals than Brentford in the last 15 minutes of the Premier League this season, and Leeds have a knack of conceding late on too.
However, the hosts look more likely to score right now.

TANAKA GOES CLOSE
The substitute's shot is deflected and flashes past Kelleher's post. But a slightly different angle and that could've very easily nestled in the back of the net.
Struijk flicks on the resulting corner but no one can latch onto it.

THE STAKES
Leeds will be desperate for their first victory in six weeks but with matches against Burnley and Wolves coming up, this point probably suits them better than Brentford who are watching a golden opportunity to close on the top six slip away.

FARKE RINGS THE CHANGES
Noah Okafor makes his first appearance in over a month, having recovered from a hamstring injury, and Ao Tanaka is also on for Leeds. Aaronson and Nmecha make way.

TWO GREAT CHANCES FOR SCHADE
The German chases two balls poked in behind the Leeds defence but on both occasions Karl Darlow beats him to it.

Brentford clear the danger but Leeds remain in the ascendancy.

CRUCIAL CHALLENGE
Incredible effort by Kayode kept the ball in play and he looked to have the beating of James Justin as he raced into the penalty area.
However, the England international just about recovered and cleared.

WHO WILL BLINK FIRST?
Dango Ouattara is the most obvious impact sub for Brentford, who need someone to turn the tide of this game.
Noah Okafor, Dan James and Joel Piroe are among the options on the bench for Daniel Farke, who will make the first move?

DEVILISH STRIKE
Ethan Ampadu charges forwards then shoots from the edge of the box, a swirling effort that Kelleher had to watch all the way.
Unfortunately for Leeds it was straight at the Irishman - a metre to the left or right and he could've been in trouble.

LEEDS ON THE FRONT FOOT
They controlled possession around Brentford's penalty area, but Aaronson rushed his shot at the end and dragged it wide. Since that Jensen chance, Leeds have been the better team.

BEST CHANCE OF THE GAME
Thiago frees Jensen who races into the Leeds penalty area, but takes a heavy touch at the wrong angle meaning he can only shoot into the side netting. He needed to do better there.
