The clash will be Chelsea's first game since they sacked Liam Rosenior on Wednesday evening after a run of five Premier League defeats in a row.

They have not won a game in any competition since their 7-0 triumph over Port Vale in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on April 4.

However, victories over Leeds and the winner of the other semi-final between Manchester City and Southampton, will see them end a difficult campaign with a major trophy and, at least, a place in the UEFA Europa League.

In stark contrast, Leeds are in a good place following a strong run of results which has seen them reach an FA Cup semi-final and create some breathing room between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone.

They are unbeaten across all competitions since a 1-0 defeat against Sunderland on March 3, a run which has seen them go nine points clear of Tottenham Hotspur in 18th.

That run also saw them reach the FA Cup semi-final with a penalty shootout win over fellow relegation rivals West Ham.
