Manchester City are reportedly close to making an offer for Lyon forward Rayan Cherki, while Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest will face competition from around the world for defender Reinildo Mandava. Elsewhere, Raheem Sterling is unlikely to be at either Chelsea or Arsenal for next season, and Cristiano Ronaldo could still sign a new contract at Al Nassr.

City to bid for Cherki
Manchester City have been linked with an offer for Rayan Cherki, Lyon’s exciting young forward.
The 21-year-old is a target for Pep Guardiola, according to reports in Germany, as he looks to strengthen for the Club World Cup and next season.
The Daily Record relays the story, writing: "Manchester City are set to launch a bid for Lyon star Rayan Cherki.
"The 21-year-old lit up Ligue 1 last season with eight goals and 11 assists in 30 matches but is expected to move on this summer.
"Cherki has no shortage of suitors and Sky Germany report that City will test Lyon's resolve with an offer after holding positive talks with the player himself."
Forest and Palace chase Mandava
Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace will face competition from clubs across the world as they target Reinildo Mandava.
The 31-year-old is wanted by the two Premier League sides when his Atletico Madrid contract expires this summer.
The Mirror writes: "Nottingham Forest have made enquiries for Atletico Madrid defender Reinildo Mandava. The 31-year-old Mozambique international is poised to become a free agent this summer following the expiry of his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.
"Mandava's deal was initially due to expire on June 30 but he has agreed a short-term contract extension that will enable him to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup. Beyond that, he's expected to depart Atletico following three-and-a-half years of service.
"Fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace are also in the running and have held exploratory conversations with the player's representatives.
"But as of now, the race for the versatile Atletico left-back, who can also play as a centre-back in a three-man defence, is wide open and there is a long list of clubs from Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia in contention for his signature."
Sterling set to leave Chelsea
Raheem Sterling’s poor loan spell at Arsenal means he is unlikely to remain at the Emirates.
In addition, the former England forward is unwanted at Chelsea and is linked with a move to a foreign side.
The Daily Mail explains: "After finding himself frozen out under Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca last summer, Sterling arrived at the Emirates on deadline day in a season-long loan deal.
"Expected to provide competition for Gabriel Martinelli on Mikel Arteta's left flank, Sterling ultimately failed to find his form for The Gunners, making just seven Premier League starts as the club were unable to keep pace with Liverpool.
"Managing just a single goal in all competitions during his time in north London, Sterling is set to return to Chelsea this summer where he faces an uncertain future.
"With Maresca still at the helm, it appears unlikely that the former Man City star will remain at Stamford Bridge, with reports linking him with a move abroad."
Ronaldo could stay at Al Nassr
The Athletic believes that Al Nassr have no interest in loaning Cristiano Ronaldo out to another team for the Club World Cup - if he signs a new deal.
The 40-year-old may yet stay with the Saudi Pro League but a poor finish to the season may have ended his time there.
The website states: "Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Al Nassr is up in the air after a disappointing season, and his contract is set to expire at the end of next month.
"The 40-year-old also posted a cryptic message on his social media earlier this week, writing: ‘This chapter is over. The story? Still being written.’
"A source close to Ronaldo told The Athletic last week that it would not make sense for Al Nassr to renew his contract and then move him out on loan to a team playing in the Club World Cup.
"That said, a renewal is not out of the question. However, a source at the Riyadh club suggested it depended in part on the outcome of their season - and this came to a negative end, with Al Nassr finishing third in the Saudi Pro League, having lost in the Asian Champions League’s semi-finals."
