Manchester United may swap striker Rasmus Hojlund for Victor Osimhen this summer, but the Napoli striker is just one of four forwards in mind at Old Trafford as they prepare to do business. Elsewhere at United, Christian Eriksen expects to leave the club but has firm ideas on where he will go, and Dougie Freedman is being lined up for a job in Saudi Arabia after leaving Crystal Palace.

Napoli target Hojlund
Napoli hope to sign Rasmus Hojlund in the summer, potentially sending Victor Osimhen in the other direction.
Hojlund continues to toil at Old Trafford, while Osimhen’s future is unclear once his loan spell at Galatasaray comes to an end.
The Mirror writes: "Antonio Conte’s Napoli are ready to offer Rasmus Hojlund a summer return to Serie A - and Victor Osimhen could go to Manchester United as part of the deal.
"The Danish striker has scored only 13 Premier League goals since his £72m transfer from Atalanta in August 2023.
"And Hojlund is on Napoli’s hit list of forwards as they plan a transfer splurge before they return to the Champions League next season.
"Former Chelsea and Spurs boss Conte wants up to seven new players - and another forward to offer competition to Romelu Lukaku."
Osimhen one of four strikers on United shortlist
Manchester United have more strikers on their shortlist than just Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Germany.
The Sun says that in addition to the Nigerian striker, Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko are other options.
The paper states: "Manchester United reportedly have a four-man shortlist of strikers they hope to sign in the summer.
"New United gaffer Ruben Amorim was interested in signing a new frontman in the January window but the club opted against a big-money signing [due] to PSR rules.
"But the Portuguese is set to try to sign a new striker in the summer, with four names, according to Sky Germany, on his wishlist.
"It’s claimed Viktor Gyokeres - who Amorim managed at Sporting Lisbon - is on the four-man list.
"United are also said to be weighing up moves for Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko, who play for Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig respectively.
"The list is said to be rounded out by Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan in Turkey with Galatasaray."
Eriksen set for United departure
Christian Eriksen is expecting to leave Manchester United this summer when his contract comes to an end.
He is expecting to stay in a top European league, having decided to reject a potential move to either MLS or his home country, Denmark.
The Daily Star explains: "Manchester United ace Christian Eriksen has revealed he's exiting the club come the summer, and he's swiftly knocked off a move to MLS or a return to his homeland's league from his list.
"United's head honchos are choosing not to extend Eriksen's stay as Ruben Amorim gears up to revamp the squad for the upcoming season.
"At 33, Eriksen is confident he's still got plenty of top-notch football in him, so he's counting out an American adventure or a Danish comeback."
Freedman set for new role
A second-tier Saudi Arabian football side has offered Dougie Freedman a new job after he left Premier League side Crystal Palace.
The former striker has been given the chance to link up with Al-Diriyah where he would have a broad remit instead of simply overseeing transfers.
The Evening Standard writes: "Dougie Freedman is being lined up for a role in Saudi Arabia following his Crystal Palace exit.
"Palace announced on Monday that Freedman is leaving after eight years as sporting director at Selhurst Park.
"And the 50-year-old has been offered a job with the Diriyah Company, which owns the Saudi second division club Al-Diriyah."
