Bayern and Barcelona interested in Gordon
According to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have presented a five-year contract to Newcastle United and England attacker Anthony Gordon.
However, the Bavarian giants are said to have ”clear limits” regarding how much they are willing to pay the Magpies for Gordon.
Plettenberg said on X: ”Despite interest from other top clubs, FC Bayern have now presented Anthony Gordon and his camp with concrete figures. Gordon could sign a five-year contract at Bayern.
”The main issue remains an agreement with Newcastle - not with the player. Bayern have clear limits. Eberl/Freund [Bayern chief sports officer Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund] are therefore in talks with several candidates.”
Gordon joined Newcastle in 2023 and is under contract until 2030.
Elsewhere, Spanish outlet Marca claim that though Barcelona are also interested in Gordon, a deal is ”highly unlikely” due to the price tag Newcastle have placed on a player.
The Marca report says: ”The 25-year-old Newcastle winger is admired by the sporting director and Hansi Flick, but a move to Barcelona is highly unlikely, as Deco discovered in a recent meeting with his agents.
”Although the player is attracted to the idea of joining the Blaugrana, his price tag and wages are prohibitive for the Catalan club.
”The Premier League side, with whom Gordon is under contract until 2030, is unwilling to let him go for less than €85 million (£73m), an amount Barcelona is unwilling to pay, partly because the left flank is not a priority position to strengthen. Furthermore, there are other, more affordable options available.”
London City linked with move for Putellas
According to Spanish radio show Esports RAC1, London City Lionesses are pushing to sign two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas.
The Barcelona skipper has a year left on her contract, and London City Lionesses are looking to make a statement signing.
Journalist Aleix Parise told Esports RAC1: "Alexia is more out of place at (Barca) because a great offer from London City has been presented for three seasons.”
Putellas, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2021 and 2022, has made 508 appearances for Barcelona.

Juventus interested in Reijnders
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are interested in signing Manchester City’s Tijjani Reijnders, just a year after the Netherlands international arrived at Etihad Stadium.
Despite scoring and assisting on his Premier League debut, Reijnders has seen his role diminish at Manchester City as the season has progressed.
Gazzetta’s report reads: ”The connection between Reijnders and Juventus stems from several factors that inform the identity outlined at Continassa to strengthen the midfield.

”Reijnders' experience at AC Milan, in short, becomes a strong point in any discussions Juventus might have regarding the player; just as his experience at top clubs, where there is a commitment to results, creates a positive perception of the player.”
The publication adds: ”It's unlikely that Juventus' transfer market managers would be willing to make such a large investment for a player like this, as they'd have to prepare a transfer market with several deals aimed at shaking up the squad and adding quality and experience.
”Manchester City spent a significant sum for Reijnders, €70 million (£60m), roughly the same amount Juventus spent on Teun Koopmeiners (who is also on his way out).
”To start a credible discussion, for now, there's only one intermediary proposal made to the club - a viable option would need to be found, including financial considerations: a loan, a swap, or something that could ease the burden and facilitate the deal.”
Madrid interest in Gvardiol
Real Madrid are reportedly long-standing admirers of Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol.
Gvardiol has been a key player for Man City since joining in 2023.
According to Sportske Novosti, City are looking to ward off potential suitors by offering Gvardiol a new and improved contract.
Gvardiol's current deal at Manchester City runs till 2028.
