Chelsea ‘make contact’ with Bayern star

According to Bild’s head of football Christian Falk, Chelsea are interested in signing Bayern Munich’s 29-year-old centre-back Kim Min-jae.
The Blues have been linked with a spate of central defenders throughout the January transfer window, including Frenchman Jeremy Jacquet and Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi.
And according to Falk, Chelsea have made contact with Bayern regarding Kim.
Speaking on the Bayern Insider podcast, Falk said: "That's true. And that also explains why Bayern might make a move in central defence. If Kim says he wants to leave, they won't stand in his way. If he says he's staying, then they don't have that problem.

"If he leaves, then of course they'll get money. Chelsea would have the money. And Bayern could reinvest that money in new players.
"Chelsea has a shortlist, there are a few players on it. But the mere fact that contact has now been established shows: Kim has a market. They can get money for Kim - and that's a luxury situation for Bayern."

Internazionale want Vicario

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have identified Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario as their primary target to succeed current No. 1 Yann Sommer.
The 29-year-old Italy international is reportedly seen as the ideal fit due to both his age and his proven ability in Serie A.
The publication claimed: "Inter's ideal choice, the name they've been monitoring not for weeks but for months, is Guglielmo Vicario.
"The former Empoli player is considered an ideal replacement for Sommer, both due to his age and his motivation.
"Before moving to Tottenham, Vicario had found himself very close to joining Inter but was won over by the English club's swift decision to complete the deal, satisfying both Empoli and the goalkeeper's demands.
"Vicario considers the Premier League the best league in the world, but he'd happily return to Italy if Inter called."

Juventus close in on En Nesyri

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Juventus and Fenerbahce are in contact over a loan deal for Youssef En-Nesyri.
En-Nesyri has been linked with Aston Villa and Everton in the January window.
According to Romano: "Juventus and Fenerbahce, again in contact today over En Nesyri deal details on initial loan with buy option clause.
"Loan fee won’t be €5/6m, but reduced with full coverage of the salary. Talks underway."

Palace could shoot for Cherif

Crystal Palace reportedly remain interested in Angers teenage forward Sidiki Cherif.
The France youth international, who has also been linked with Wrexham, is capable of playing as a striker or on the left wing and is under contract at Angers until 2028.
Transfer journalist Rudy Galetti said on X: "Crystal Palace remain interested in Sidiki Cherif.
"However, the deal has slowed down after Angers involved new intermediaries instead of the player’s agents, with whom Palace have a strong relationship. That's why CPFC are now exploring other options."
He added: "More on Sidiki Cherif: major Italian and German clubs remain interested in the French player, under contract with Angers until 2028. A potential exit from the club during this winter window is still an option."
