Aston Villa have signed midfielder Harvey Elliott from Liverpool on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
After coming through the youth ranks at Fulham and breaking into the first team, Elliott moved to Anfield in 2019 and went on to enjoy a trophy-laden stay on Merseyside.
The 22-year-old leaves the club as a Premier League and FA Cup winner, with his medals adding to the silverware he has won at the FIFA Club World Cup and Carabao Cup.
Overall, he appeared 149 times for Liverpool and scored 15 goals.
Elliott was a pivotal part of England's success at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship - where he picked up the Player of the Tournament award as they retained the title earlier this summer.
Reports suggest that should Villa complete the permanent signing of Elliott next summer then Liverpool's deal will include sell-on and buy-back clauses.
The Birmingham-based club reportedly saw off competition from Premier League rivals West Ham United and Fulham, as well as German side RB Leipzig, in order to capture Elliott.
