Nottingham Forest's eye-watering demands for their England international midfield star Elliot Anderson have potentially put off Manchester City, it has been claimed.

As noted in Thursday's Paper Round, Forest want a British-record fee for Anderson and have already turned down an offer of £120 million from City.
The offer would make Anderson the most expensive Englishman in history, ahead of Jude Bellingham (£115m to Real Madrid) and Declan Rice (£105m to Arsenal).
"Manchester City are considering walking away from a deal to sign England superstar Elliot Anderson. City have seen a second offer of £120m for Anderson rejected by Nottingham Forest," writes the Mirror.
It is understood the deal was made up of £100m plus £20m of add-ons, depending on Anderson's success at the Etihad. But Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is holding out for the overall fee being paid in full.
"City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak is not prepared to get into a bidding war over the 23-year-old midfielder. Al-Mubarak believes City's offer is a fair one for someone who still has a lot to prove - and hasn't even played in the Champions League.
"The City chief has shown in the past he is prepared to pull out of negotiations and look elsewhere, if he thinks he is being held to ransom."

Hall 'open' to Man Utd move
Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall is "open" to a move to Manchester United following a fall-out with manager Eddie Howe, according to a report in The Sun.
The outlet claims tensions have grown between the full-back and Howe during a frustrating season on Tyneside.
He now wants to leave St James' Park and could make the move to Man Utd where he could challenge Luke Shaw for the left-back position.
"Lewis Hall wants to leave Newcastle amid tensions with manager Eddie Howe," writes The Sun.

"Hall blames Howe for missing out on a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England World Cup squad.
"The left-back was unhappy to be switched to right-back for Newcastle‘s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, their penultimate fixture before Tuchel announced his 26-man squad.
"Hall was also substituted at half-time in the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in April before starting the next two games against Arsenal and Brighton on the bench.
"A source close to Hall said he was involved in a row with Howe and figures at Newcastle fear their working relationship has broken down.
"Hall would be open to joining Manchester United, who are in the market for a long-term left-back as Luke Shaw is out of contract next year.
"Former Chelsea full-back Hall is under contract at Newcastle until 2029 and the club have already sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for £69.3m."
Chelsea weigh up Rashford bid
Chelsea are weighing up a sensational move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford this summer, according to reports.
Rashford is considering the next move in his career after a permanent move to Barcelona - where he had impressed on loan - failed to materialise. The Catalan giants had the option to sign him for £26 million but opted against it.
The Blues, under new manager Xabi Alonso, are now linked with the 28-year-old.
The Metro writes: "Chelsea have been linked with a move for Marcus Rashford after Barcelona reportedly decided to send him back to Manchester United.
"Rashford was hoping to sign a permanent deal with Barcelona after spending last season on loan at the Nou Camp.
"The 28-year-old, who is preparing for England’s World Cup campaign, largely impressed for Barca, scoring 14 goals in all competitions as Hansi Flick’s side won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup and went deep in the Champions League.
"Barcelona were given the option of signing Rashford for around £26m when they agreed a loan deal for the Manchester United outcast last summer.
"As a result Rashford’s representatives have started looking at different options and Chelsea were linked with a surprise move earlier in the month.
"According to Chelsea expert Si Phillips, The Blues have not ruled out a move for Rashford and could be tempted to launch an official move later in the summer."

Kehl not Spurs bound
Tottenham Hotspur will not be appointing Sebastien Kehl as their new sporting director, reports The Telegraph.
The former Borussia Dortmund director had been strongly linked with a move to Spurs, but now it is claimed the club will be looking elsewhere.
"Roberto De Zerbi has wasted no time in demonstrating his power at Tottenham Hotspur over the club’s hunt for a new sporting director," states the report.
"Tottenham had shown a strong interest in Sebastien Kehl, who left Borussia Dortmund in March, but any prospective move for the German appears to be off.
"Sources on both sides have pointed to De Zerbi’s influence as a major reason why it looks like Kehl will not be joining Spurs, albeit for different reasons.
"Tottenham have declined to comment on the situation or the club’s search for a sporting director. But sources close to De Zerbi have claimed that he had doubts about a move for Kehl.
"That is challenged by sources on Kehl’s side who claim he was put off the Tottenham role by the level of influence and control De Zerbi has been given."
