The 34-year-old is leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season when his contract expires. He has enjoyed his best season to date with The Red Devils after scoring eight goals.
”Given the task that United chiefs have in replacing him, they have compiled an extensive list of candidates,” states the Mirror.
”Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and Real Madrid destroyer Aurelien Tchouameni are all among those United are eyeing. But Ederson has now emerged as another potential target, with the Brazilian looking likely to leave Atalanta.
”Ederson, 26, is out of contract next summer and is valued at €40m-50m (£35m-£45m).”
"United, however, could face competition for his services, with Atletico Madrid also thought to be strongly interested."

Newcastle turn to Jackson

Newcastle United are keen on bringing Nicolas Jackson to St James' Park.
Jackson has registered 10 goals and four assists in 29 appearances across all competitions since joining Bayern Munich on loan from Chelsea.
However, Bayern reportedly have no interest in making the move permanent.
"Newcastle are interested in signing Chelsea ace Nicolas Jackson after Bayern Munich decided to end his loan this summer," notes The Sun.
"According to talkSPORT, that latest development has led to interest from Newcastle ahead of the summer transfer window.
"The Magpies will be looking for quality reinforcement at centre-forward after Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa both failed to impress after Alexander Isak’s record £130million move to Liverpool last summer.
"Chelsea will look to sell Jackson as he would command a high fee the West Londoners would especially need if they miss out on Champions League qualification with them currently eighth in the Premier League."

Forest want Hackney as Anderson replacement

Nottingham Forest have lined up Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney to replace Elliot Anderson.
A number of clubs are interested in England midfielder Anderson, with Manchester City said to be leading the race to sign him.
Forest are turning to Hackney, the Championship player of the season, to replace the former Newcastle United midfielder.
The Sun writes: ”Nottingham Forest want the Championship’s top man Hayden Hackney to replace Elliot Anderson.
”But a host of other clubs are ready to take a £20 million punt on the Middlesbrough midfielder.
”It comes as Forest star Anderson looks set to be the subject of a transfer saga this summer – with both Manchester clubs circling.
”City and United will move for £100m-rated England star Anderson next month. And Forest have already identified the man to fill the void in midfield.”
