Real Madrid have put Enzo Fernandez top of their wish list after a move for Michael Olise fell flat. The Chelsea man could become Jose Mourinho's first signing upon his return to the Bernabeu, but Los Blancos will be forced to splash out a huge transfer fee to prize him away from Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder is currently playing a starring role for Argentina, who have won their opening two games at the FIFA World Cup.
Olise was originally a target for the Spanish giants, but AS claims they have decided to pursue other options.
And that has led them to Fernandez, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Benfica in 2023.
He has since made over 150 appearances, helping the Blues lift the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup titles.
And with financial fair play a consideration, Chelsea may be forced to sell the midfielder, should Real Madrid meet a reported valuation of €100 million (£86m).
Mourinho apparently sees the Argentine as someone with "proven elite-level experience," which fits the profile of the kind of player he is looking to recruit.
AS continues: "Mourinho sees Enzo as the ideal modern midfielder for his system, praising his ability to cover ground, lead both on and off the pitch, and control the tempo of games.
"He is viewed as a true box-to-box midfielder, capable of linking defence and attack while adding energy and structure in midfield."
PSG to hijack Thuram's PL move
UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen to strengthen their squad by signing Khephren Thuram.
The 25-year-old currently plies his trade for Juventus, who he joined for €20 million (£17.3m) from Nice in 2024.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claims the fact the Old Lady could make double that in selling the player is appealing.
There has also been interest from the Premier League during this summer transfer window, with Liverpool and Manchester United apparently weighing up a move.
But Gazzetta says Thuram favours a switch to PSG, as it would strengthen his hopes of adding to his four French caps.
They write that he "wants to win and quickly join his brother, Marcus, in the national team.
"Unlike other avenues suggested by English proposals, this option would give him a significant boost."

Egyptian wonderkid joins Spanish giants
Hamza Abdelkarim has put pen-to-paper on a three-year contract with Barcelona.
The forward spent the first half of this year on loan with the club, after coming through the ranks at Al Ahly.
He clearly impressed during this time with the 'B' team, scoring eight goals in just 11 appearances.
Marca states that the Camp Nou outfit have now activated a "purchase option" that was part of the deal.
Only 18 years old, Abdelkarim has already won four caps for Egypt and is part of their squad at the World Cup.
"The Catalan club views him as a highly talented player and considers his signing a safe bet for the future," Marca continues.
"Furthermore, his market value could rise significantly during the World Cup.
"Hamza Abdelkarim is one of the most promising players at the tournament."
Bayern eyeing Bisseck?
Bayern Munich are yet to dip into the transfer market this summer, but that could all be about to change.
The German champions have made Inter defender Yann Bisseck one of their top targets.
That's according to Sport Bild reporter Christian Falk.
He states that Vincent Kompany's side have "already made a call to" the Italian giants as they look to thrash out a transfer fee.
Bisseck, a German international, is contracted to Inter until 2029.
"Bayern Munich’s preference is to always go for the German guy where applicable," Falk added.
"They love having German players in the squad. They want to be the German Bavarian national team."
Bisseck moved to the San Siro in 2023, but has still only won one cap for his country and would apparently love to join Bayern in the future.
According to Falk, though, any move would be dependent on Min-Jae Kim leaving the club.
