Chelsea are willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports, with the Argentine set to leave Stamford Bridge after just one season. The former Manchester United winger struggled to impress following his £40 million transfer last year and The Blues will only consider a permanent move.

Football London claims: ”There is interest in Garnacho and there have been reports in Italy regarding Roma wanting to loan the winger, but Chelsea, sources say, will only consider a permanent transfer this summer.
”Garnacho, whose contract at the Bridge does not expire until 2032, made 43 appearances in his debut season in west London but failed to cement a regular spot in the starting XI under all three head coaches.
”While there are potential suitors for Garnacho, there have been no club-to-club talks over the former United winger yet.”

Man Utd’s Ederson deal still going ahead
Manchester United remain confident a deal for Ederson will go through after denying rumours the £39m move is set to fall through, the Daily Mail reports.
United sources told the Mail that the structure of the deal and personal terms are agreed, and they will complete the move later this month after the player’s late call-up to Brazil’s World Cup squad.
The Mail adds: ”Ederson, who turns 27 on Tuesday, is believed to have had an initial medical check, but United say they will put him through a full medical now Brazil’s participation in the World Cup is over. Carlo Ancelotti's side were dumped out by Norway at the last-16 stage on Sunday night, Erling Haaland scoring twice in a 2-1 win.
”United were delighted to reach agreement with Atalanta at the start of June to pay £35million plus £3.8m in add-ons for Ederson.
”However, they have been frustrated in their attempts to add up to two more midfielders to their squad since then, losing out to Manchester City and Tottenham for Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes respectively.”
Villa duo set for contract talks
Ezri Konsa and Pau Torres are set to hold contract talks with Aston Villa this summer, the Daily Mail reports.
Konsa and Torres are the club’s first-choice centre-back pairing who both have two years left on their current contracts.
The Mail adds: ”Villa are currently walking a tightrope to stay within UEFA spending rules. European football chiefs have effectively ruled that Villa cannot add significant players to their squad without making a sale first – so it could make more sense for them to improve deals for existing players than to trade.
”If Villa opted to cash in on Konsa or Torres, they would demand a high price to fund a replacement of similar quality. Konsa is 28 and Torres 29 – meaning many clubs would think twice before paying a huge fee for either.
”Konsa is currently on duty with England at the World Cup and played in their 3-2 win over Mexico in the early hours of Monday, while Torres was not included in the Spain squad.”
