Morgan Rogers has received his first senior England call-up for the Nations League games against Greece and Republic of Ireland, amid a spate of withdrawals.
Rogers was initially named in the Under-21 squad but has now been promoted to the senior setup.
The Aston Villa star is a late inclusion to Lee Carsley’s squad, alongside West Ham's Jarrod Bowen, Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, Newcastle's Tino Livramento and Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford.
The call-ups have come after eight players dropped out of this week’s Nations League fixtures through injury.
England play Greece on Thursday, November 14, before hosting Republic of Ireland three days later.
Chelsea's Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer, Manchester City pair Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, as well as Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold are all unavailable for England.
Rogers, who has represented England at every age group from Under-15s through to the Under-21s, has become central to Unai Emery’s Villa side this term.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has featured in all 15 of Villa's Premier League and UEFA Champions League games this term.
The forward progressed through West Bromwich Albion’s academy before joining Manchester City in 2019.

Rogers went on to have loan spells at Lincoln City, Bournemouth and Blackpool before securing a permanent transfer to Middlesbrough in July 2023.
He only spent six months at the Riverside before Villa signed him at the end of the winter transfer window in January 2024.
England have taken nine points from their opening four Nations League games and sit second in their group.
Thursday’s match in Athens will be Carsley’s penultimate game as interim boss, before handing over the reins to Thomas Tuchel on January 1, 2025.
