UNITED CLAIM SUPERB WIN AT JUVENTUS TO SECURE SEEDED PLAY-OFF SPOT IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Jess Park’s first half stunner was enough to claim all three points for United as they battled to an important win in Turin.
The win means United finish in sixth place in the league standings and will be seeded for the play-off ties in February in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Juventus started the game the brighter and could have gone ahead after Amalie Vangsgaard’s effort was saved by Phallon Tullis-Joyce inside five minutes.
However, after their early dominance, it was United who took the lead through a stunning strike from Park, against the run of play.
With the ball laid off to her on the edge of the box, she curled a brilliant effort into the top corner after 18 minutes.
United were buoyed by the opener and went close with a long-range effort by Melvine Malard, her shot saved by Juventus goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin.
After the break, Park continued to be the most dangerous player on the pitch and tried her luck from range a number of times.
United had shouts for a penalty after Elisabeth Terland was brought down by Cecilia Salvai but neither the referee or VAR decided to award it.
The visitors were then let off themselves after Maya Le Tissier clattered Cristiana Girelli in the box minutes later, but the offside flag was raised.
Despite late dominance from the hosts, they were unable to break United’s resolve and the English side claimed a win to remember.

Whistle
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-1 MAN UTD
Cambiaghi fires wide late on and United leave with all three points! What a fantastic win for Skinner's side as they don't manage to secure a top four finish but they leave with a very impressive away win in Europe and ultimately finish sixth.
Park's stunner the difference on the night - it was really the main moment of quality and that is often what wins these sorts of games.
This result really boosts their chances of a favourable draw and progressing to the quarter-finals.

Offside
HUGE LET OFF FOR UNITED
Le Tissier is incredibly fortunate. Girelli gets onto the end of a cross and is hammered by the Man Utd captain.
The whistle does go, but it's for an offside against the Juve forward. Big let off because just like Terland down the other end, that was a stonewall penalty too.

NO PENALTY FOR UNITED
Terland goes down in the box as it appears that Salvai has clearly fouled her, but the referee gives nothing.
That was a stonewall penalty! And VAR chooses not to get involved.

YELLOWS COME OUT FOR UNITED
Le Tissier is given a harsh yellow card for a pretty innocuous foul and moments before Tullis-Joyce was booked for time wasting.
With the amount of United fouls tonight, maybe their lucky the ref has kept the cards to themselves until now.

GEORGE DOWN
The United defender has been getting stuck in tonight and she goes down hurt as the home fans begin to boo.
She's okay to continue and Juve are getting more frustrated with every passing minute.

WALTI MISSES FROM DISTANCE
A shot in the dark from Juventus. Walti tests her luck from 35-odd yards and sees her effort sail wide.
United will be happy to see Juve resorting to those types of shots.

PARK'S EVENING COMES TO AN END
The England midfielder has been electric tonight and has given this game it's moment of magic. She attempts one more long range effort that goes wide and is replaced by Ella Toone.

Juventus finally test United's keeper again.
