The following teams came through their last-16 fixtures to confirm their place in the World Cup quarter-finals: France, Morocco, Norway, England, Spain, Belgium, Argentina and Switzerland.
England booked their spot in the last eight in dramatic style as they held on with 10 men to beat co-hosts Mexico 3-2 at the Azteca Stadium.
Switzerland became the final team to seal a place in the last eight after edging Colombia in a shoot-out after the match finished scoreless.

Who could play who in the semi-finals?
As we get closer to the final stages of the tournament, it is time to start plotting the possible remaining fixtures.
France were the first team to book their spot in the semi-finals after a comfortable win over Morocco. That came after a narrow win over Paraguay.
Les Bleus will meet Spain in a blockbuster last-four clash, after the European champions edged out Belgium 2-1.
On the other side of the draw, England secured a dramatic victory over co-hosts Mexico and followed that up with a comeback victory over Norway in the quarter-final.
Jude Bellingham was the hero yet again, with a brace, the second of which came in extra time.
Awaiting England in the semi-finals are Argentina, who defeated Switzerland in the last eight 3-1, having been taken to extra time by 10 men.

Their opponents are Argentina, with the Lionel Messi-powered reigning champions having overcome Switzerland in the last eight, thanks to Julian Alvarez's extra-time stunner.
