Kirsty Muir claimed the first GB podium this season, after winning gold at the Secret Garden Freeski Big Air World Cup in China.
This was the first big air World Cup victory of Muir's career. She finished the contest with a score of 174.50, with Canada's Naomi Urness taking second on 167.75 and China's Liu Mengting with 165.25.
She opened the competition with a left double cork 1440, then wrapped up her maiden gold with a right double cork 1080 mute, leaving her with a victory lap for her third jump.
It was Muir’s second career World Cup victory after she took slopestyle gold at the 2024/25 closing race in Tignes seven months ago.
Speaking afterwards, Muir told fis-ski.com: "I’m so stoked. I was in it today to get my tricks down. I wanted to just focus on the tricks. The result was just the end outcome.
"Overall, I’m just so, so happy with how I skied, that’s what I’m going to take away from this."
It is the latest milestone in a promising fledgling career for the 21-year-old, who was Team GB's youngest member at Beijing 2022.
She made a name for herself after winning several junior British skiing titles, and won her first senior gold medal at the 2019 Europa Cup event.
Silver and bronze medals would follow at the World Junior Championships that same year, and she went onto win a Winter Youth Olympic big air silver medal in Lausanne.
She claimed an impressive sixth-place finish at the 2021 World Championships, and a slew of top-10 World Cup finishes sealed her place in the Team GB side for Beijing 2022.
She competed in the women's slopestyle and big air, finishing eighth and fifth respectively.
Muir would then take double bronze at the 2023 X Games and is now targeting a second Winter Olympics appearance at Milano Cortina.
Momentum certainly seems to be with Muir, after an enforced year out due to knee and shoulder surgery towards the end of 2023.
She previously reflected on a topsy-turvy campaign in 2024/25 after not being at her best due to recovering from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"Thinking back to last season, it was quite a funny one," she told teamgb.com.
"I got back into comps quite quickly because of Olympic qualification. At first we had no expectations and then it started going well.
"I still wasn't even at 100% when I was doing any of it last year, so I look back on it really fondly and I'm now really excited for this season and progress even more.
"I want to go into Milan at my absolute best."

Meanwhile, American Troy Podmilsak won the men's event after two high scoring runs gave him a total of 185.50.
Canada's Dylan Deschamps took second with 178.50, and New Zealand's Luca Harrington completed the podium in third on 176.00.
Focus now turns to the next big air World Cup event, which takes place in Beijing on December 4.
