Kirsty Muir and Charlotte Bankes ascended the summit of their respective sports on Saturday, both scooping crystal globes in the final events of the season. Muir bagged her first overall title by finishing second in the slopesyle World Cup in Silvaplana, also taking the park and pipe overall gong. Bankes grabbed her third crystal globe, winning the snowboard cross final in Monte-Sainte-Anne.

Kirsty Muir and Charlotte Bankes wrapped up their respective sensational seasons by winning crystal globes on Saturday.
Muir, who finished an agonising fourth in both the slopestyle and big air events at Milano Cortina 2026, claimed redemption in Silvaplana with a second-placed run, enough to earn her the discipline title.
It was the Scot's third slopestyle podium finish of the season, after winning in Aspen and Tignes, while she confirmed first place in the overall park and pipe standings, with Indra Brown unable to surpass Muir's 470 points in the final event of the season, the halfpipe World Cup in Silvaplana.
In doing so, Muir became the first Brit to be awarded the freeski slopestyle title alongside the park and pipe globe.
Reacting to her maiden crystal globe triumph, Muir said she was "stoked" to land a long-term goal.
"I’m still very speechless," Muir told FIS. "It had definitely been a goal of mine for a while and this season had been going so well. You have to be consistent over the competitions. I’m just overall so stoked with how the season has gone."

The 21-year-old from Aberdeen is quickly cementing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the sport, having won slopestyle gold at the 2026 X Games, her fourth medal in the competition in just two years.
And Muir also won bronze in the overall big air standings this season after securing gold in November's Secret Garden meet.
Joining her with a crystal globe in her hands was compatriot Bankes, who bagged her third in five seasons in snowboard cross.
The Brit, who made history for Great Britain at Milano Cortina by winning Team GB's first Olympic gold medal in a snow sport along with Huw Nightingale, by edging out 2024 overall champion Chloe Trespeuch in Mont-Sainte-Anne.

Bankes was overtaken by the French racer midway through the final, but clawed back the lead to cross the line 0.14 seconds ahead.
"It was a tight fight all day," reacted Bankes after the race. "But it's a great track. Quite a lot of overtakes can happen. I just stayed focused on myself, on my lines and just tried to keep my speed until the bottom.
"It was really fun out there fighting with the girls and congratulations to Chloe and Sina [Siegenthaler]. It's nice to be on the podium with them."
Trespeuch finished second overall in the season's standings, a position Bankes occupied in the previous two campaigns, while France's Lea Casta claimed overall bronze.
