New Zealand v Ireland - Nations Championship result as All Blacks extend historic record at Eden Park with dominant win against Andy Farrell's side

Tries from Patrick Tuipulotu, Ardie Savea, Will Jordan, Asafo Aumua, Damian McKenzie and Anton Lienert-Brown saw the All Blacks cruise to an emphatic win in Auckland.

Jack Conan, Joe McCarthy and Hugo Keenan scored for Ireland who may have felt that Kiwi lock Luke Jacobson should have been sent off for a dangerous tackle.

Tuipulotu went over in the 14th minute to open the scoring before Savea broke free from a scrum to score a mostly uncontested second try only seven minutes later.

Then came a major flashpoint of the game as Jacobson flew into Josh Van de Flier to complete a clearout but in doing so, failed to wrap his arms.

Instead, he flew in and connected with the Irishman's head with his shoulder - a yellow card was given and not increased by the off-field review due to mitigation.

With the man advantage, Ireland got over the line with Conan in the 33rd minute but switched off on exit and a loose pass that found no one allowed Jordan to walk home the ball for the All Blacks' third try.

With one minute left in the half Aumua bundled over the line for the bonus-point try before the half was out.

Ireland scored five minutes into the second half through McCarthy but ultimately couldn't keep New Zealand at bay.

The sides traded tries with McKenzie scoring first afterwards followed by Keenan before Lienert-Brown rounded off the scoring in the 79th minute.

It means the All Blacks' unbeaten run at Eden Park stretches to 53 matches.

Andy Farrell's side now take a break from action before they start their next games in the Nations Championship in November against Argentina.

There will be plenty for Ireland and Farrell to get right before those games get underway but they enter with two wins from three which leaves them in a promising position.

The All Blacks have had a very successful start to the Nations Championship - winning all of their first three games.

They will face regional teams next month before an away series against South Africa.

Rennie's side will kick-off their away leg of the Nations Championship against Scotland in November.

The All Blacks romp to another Eden Park win, stretching their unbeaten record to 53 games.

Ireland battled hard and gave a good account of themselves in the second half but their poor first half display left them with too much to do.

New Zealand were irresistible at times but they didn't need to work all that hard to win.

There will be plenty for Andy Farrell and his side to take away from the match as they look to improve as the competition progresses.

And that is all she wrote. More patience from the All Blacks in attack and Will Jordan attracts two defenders and slips the ball to Linert-Brown who runs in for the easy finish.

McKenzie misses the conversion.

Frawley has a huge try chance down the right after being picked out by a brilliant cross-field kick, but is cut down by Jordan!

The Ireland replacement then does an extra roll on the ground, and that's an easy penalty concession. 

Ireland need one more try for at least a bonus-point here. 

35 or more phases I lost count but some fantastic play from the All Blacks to retain the ball but Ireland stood strong brilliantly.

Some fantastic defensive tackles and eventually New Zealand are penalised for clearing out at the ruck.

Even without a score it is time used without Ireland threatening the kiwi lead.

Tupaea makes way for the veteran.

Ireland work the ball well out to the left and Keenan is the spare man and he strolls in for the try.

Prendergast has the joy of taking the hardest conversion of the game and he middles it brilliantly.

Is there still a chance?

No card for Tupaea and Ireland kick for the corner.

Tupaea makes a diving effort to intercept a pass but doesn't gather the ball and TMO are checking whether it should be more than a knock-on.

He took a big hit while claiming a high ball earlier and Rennie is protecting his fly-half who makes way for Caleb Clarke.

Tuipulotu also makes way for Segner.

Phase after phase it felt like a matter of time before the All Blacks went over. Love looked to be the one but he was denied by a great last-ditch tackle but McKenzie was on hand to take over and finish the job.

The All Blacks cannot break through the Irish line but they do win two penalties and the ref brings it back for them.

The kiwis kick for the corner.

Jordie Barrett this time! 

Keenan can't stop it as he puts a foot in touch while chasing back to try and keep the ball in play. 

It comes after O'Brien and Love collide in the air while challenging for a high ball. Love won the duel but O'Brien barges into him in the air as he claims.

The fans want action taken against O'Brien but none is to come.

Ireland seem to have their confidence renewed and they are moving the ball better until Prendergast fires a pass to the wing that is too high and goes out of play.

Poor.

Unlike last time, Ireland take no risks on exit and punt the ball clear. Smart.

That's the fast start Ireland needed! They work the line-out well and bundle their way over beneath the posts and the ref gives it.

Prendergast converts.

Some good work from Ireland early on they moved the ball quicker and more decisively. It results in a penalty and Ireland go for a line-out.

A very short kick to get us going again and Ireland almost steal it. Can the visitors turn this around?
