Brady Kurtz ended the night in second after an impressive ride in the final heat, bouncing back to finish P2 after starting from the second gate.
Fredrik Lindgren took third, unable to convert his inside gate start into victory, as he leaves Round 5 with some frustration.
Both Kurtz and Lindgren had an incredibly dramatic night in Manchester, suffering a crash in Heat 15, which left both riders feeling second-hand. However, they both fought back, picking up crucial points throughout the heats.
Elsewhere, Jack Holder earned his spot in the final following an intense Last Chancer Qualifier 1, in which the Australian defeated Martin Vaculik and Kai Huckenbeck.
In terms of home favourites, Dan Bewley was unable to complete the double, finishing the night in 10th, Robert Lambert took 12th, and Charles Wright finished in 16th.
Zmarzlik has a total of 92 points, leaving Round 5, now holding onto an 11-point gap in the championship from Brady Kurtz in second. Fredrik Lindgren sits a further 12 points behind as the title begins to heat up!

ZMARZLIK: "I ALWAYS TRY MY BEST"
Speaking about some moments he experienced tonight, Zmarzlik said: "I’m still young, I always try my best, but there were two times today that I touched the fence and I heard the noise from my engine and said ‘today is for us.'"
Zmarzlik is already looking forward to the next round of the year in Poland: "I always like to come back to my home track, so I will see you all soon!"
KURTZ: "I’M GOING TO BE HERE ALL YEAR"
Discussing his emotions and feelings after the GP, Kurtz said: "I’m very second-hand, that’s for sure, this one is going to hurt in the morning. But I can’t let Bartosz get away, I’m going to be here all year. Thank you so much to all the fans for a good reception, I’m not British, but thank you so much!"
FINAL – LINDGREN, KURTZ, HOLDER, ZMARZLIK
TAPES UP FOR THE FINAL TIME IN GREAT BRITAIN! Zmarzlik made a strong start from the outside, working hard on the opening lap as Kurtz swooped from the outside to grab an early lead However, the reigning champion responded, looking to take victory in Manchester. Everything was set for a blockbuster finish, with Lindgren and Holder watching the battle unfold from third and fourth.
Over the line, Zmarzlik took his third Grand Prix victory of the season, storming to win from the outside gate. It was an impressive ride from the #95, with Kurtz left chasing behind after a hot pace at the front. Lindgren took third as Holder finished in fourth after a strong night to reach the final.

LCQ 2 – FRICKE, LINDGREN, BEWLEY, MICHELSEN
Tapes up for the final LCQ race, with Fricke securing the lead at the opening corner before Michelsen launched an impressive move! The outside gate starter was trading positions with Fricke all race long as Lindgren found time, putting down the gauntlet to turn his night upside down!
Lindgren took victory after launching his bike from third to first in one move, as Fricke followed 0.259s behind, while Michelsen and Bewley followed behind. It was the end of the night for the Round 4 winner, who ended his hopes of completing the double in Manchester.
LCQ 1 – HUCKENBECK, HOLDER, KUBERA, VACULIK
A critical LCQ 1 began with Vaculik storming from the outside gate to the lead at the opening corner. Holder responded, fighting back to snatch the lead as Huckenbeck and Kubera could only watch behind as they battled for third position. It was a fast and furious race with only the winner earning his place in the final!
Holder took victory ahead of Vaculik, with Huckenbeck fending off Kubera to the flag. It was a dramatic end as the Australian now gets set for an unmissable final later on tonight!

HEAT 20 – KURTZ, LEBEDEVS, ZMARZLIK, VACULIK
Kurtz made an incredible start, looking to fight back after a tough heat earlier in the evening, which saw the #101 be excluded from the restart. Lebedevs was in the chase, with Zmarzlik unable to continue his win streak from the third gate in Heat 20. Pressure was on Kurtz from the start, who was eyeing a further three points to his overall tally this evening.
Kurtz took an important win, claiming three points, which would prove to be crucial for his chances in the final! Lebedevs crossed the line in second as Zmarzlik took third and the final point ahead of Vaculik in fourth.
HEAT 19 – LINDGREN, DOYLE, KUBERA, MICHELSEN
Further drama unfolded in Heat 19, with Michelsen making an incredible start from the outside gate. The #155 tried to extend his gap instantly, with Doyle chasing behind in second as Lindgren and Kubera began their battle for the final point finish of the heat.
It was a stunning ride for Michelsen, who will fly up the standings to earn his spot in the LCQ race. Doyle and Lindegren scored the final points as Kubera struggled after a poor start to the heat.
HEAT 18 – FRICKE, LAMBERT, HOLDER, THOMSEN
Tapes up for an important Heat 18! Lambert was aggressive at the start, sliding into the lead after a great launch from the second gate. Thomsen would respond, firing the #105 machine into the lead, with all eyes on the fight for victory. Holder got involved in the final lap, looking to push the British rider to third.
Thomsen won Heat 18, impressing ahead of Holder, who was able to push Lambert back to third in what could prove to be a pivotal moment of the night!
HEAT 17 – KVECH, BEWLEY, WRIGHT, HUCKENBECK
Bewley took an early lead, with Huckenbeck applying early pressure to the British rider. It was a disappointing start for Kvech, who suffered a mechanical issue at the start of Heat 17. Bewley pulled the pin, extending a gap as he continued to search for his first win of the night.
Bewley crossed the line to secure a crucial win as Huckenbeck finished second and Wright claimed the final finishing spot in third!

HEAT 16 – FRICKE, MICHELSEN, VACULIK, WRIGHT
Great start from Michelsen, firing his way to the front of the field before Fricke launched his early attack to enter P1. Vaculik dropped to the back, beginning his fight with Wright, who continues to look comfortable as he continues to fight as a wild card. Michelsen continued to apply pressure, looking for any opportunity to pass!
Fricke took Heat 16 victory, finishing ahead of Michelsen as Vaculik was able to pip Wright for the final point of the heat!
HEAT 15 RESTART – THOMSEN, LINDGREN, HUCKENBECK
Lindgren made the perfect launch on the restart, looking to bounce back on the restart of Heat 15. Huckenbeck fought hard, continuing to fight for the lead before Lindgren responded, looking very strong under pressure!
At the flag, Lindgren would claim victory, securing his first win of the evening on his spare bike, as Huckenbeck claimed second and Thomsen took the final finishing spot.
KURTZ EXCLUDED
Brady Kurtz will take no further part in the action this evening as he has now been excluded for the remainder of the heat.
HEAT 15 – RED FLAG – THOMSEN, LINDGREN, HUCKENBECK, KURTZ
Kurtz was the Firestarter, but drama would unfold instantly as Heat 15 was stopped with a red flag after a crash on the opening lap, ending both Kurtz’s and Lindgren’s chances of victory.
HEAT 14 – LAMBERT, KUBERA, BEWLEY, ZMARZLIK
It was a star-studded line-up for Heat 14 with anticipation building. Kubera made the best start, claiming an early lead before Zmarzlik and Lambert went head-to-head in Manchester. Everything remained up for grabs as Lambert and Bewley lost time, allowing Kubera and Zmarzlik to battle for the win on the final lap.
Zmarzlik remained unbeaten tonight, adding to his win tally ahead of Kubera, as Lambert finished in third. It was an incredible race, with Zmarzlik making his presence known after Bewley took the overall win on night one!
HEAT 13 – HOLDER, DOYLE, LEBEDEVS, KVECH
Heat 13 was underway, with Holder storming into the lead after a great start from the inside of the gate. Kvech was on a charge, creating moves as Lebedevs found time and began to work very hard, stealing second position and putting pressure on Holder. Everything was up for grabs on the final lap, sending the crowd wild!
Holder was victorious, adding three points to his tally, ahead of Lebedevs and Kvech, as Doyle failed to score in fourth.

We are moments away from Heat 13, with the gate success remaining very even so far this evening, which will bring hope to some riders! Zmarzlik leads the night by just one point as Holder, Doyle, Lebedevs, and Kvech are next up.

Over the line, Vaculik took victory, clinching the win ahead of Huckenbeck and Holder as Kubera was unable to score any points despite a strong launch!
HEAT 11 – BEWLEY, FRICKE, LINDGREN, LEBEDEVS
Fricke made the perfect start, launching into the lead, leaving Lindgren and home hero Bewley in chase. There were multiple lines, with Lebedevs struggling with the pace throughout the opening laps. It was all action at the front, keeping the crowd entertained!
Fricke took his first win of the night, beating Lindgren as Bewley struggled to match the pace of the #46, crossing the line in third once more.
HEAT 10 – DOYLE, KURTZ, WRIGHT, LAMBERT
Tapes up, and Kurtz made an incredible start, looking to follow in Zmarzlik’s footsteps in Heat 10 on the night. However, Lambert had other ideas, launching well from the outside gate to steal the lead and try to claim his first heat win of the evening.
Lambert took victory, winning his first heat of the weekend here in Manchester, with Kurtz following behind in second as the wild card Wright took further points in third!
HEAT 9 – MICHELSEN, THOMSEN, KVECH, ZMARZLIK
It was an incredible start from Zmarzlik, aiming for glory once more, this time from the outside gate. The world champion launched ahead of Michelsen, showing the Manchester crowd a masterclass once more. Thomsen sat in fourth in the early stages, chasing Kvech all the way to the line.
At the flag, Zmarzlik claimed victory, remaining unbeaten as Michelsen was forced to settle for second ahead of Kvech, who defended well to keep third.

Vaculik made a great start with Doyle showing his front wheel at the start, aiming for a vital three points. Bewley was left with a lot of work to do, losing ground at the start with the blue helmet before slowly charging into second position, looking to salvage his first points of the night.
Vaculik comfortably won ahead of last night’s winner, Bewley, with Doyle and Thomsen rounding out the finishers!
HEAT 7 – ZMARZLIK, WRIGHT, HOLDER, LINDGREN
Zmarzlik took an early lead at the opening turn before Lindgren showed his skill, snatching the lead before an incredible battle unfolded! Zmarzlik soon responded, showing his skill to push the #66 back into second, with Holder only able to watch in third, unable to match the pace at the front.
Zmarzlik remains unbeaten this evening after a great fight with Lindgren in second, as Holder held off wild card Wright in fourth.
HEAT 6 – LEBEDEVS, HUCKENBECK, LAMBERT, MICHELSEN
Huckenbeck took an early lead in Heat 6, with Lambert on the attack immediately, looking to find a gap on Lebedevs, who started from the inside gate. Lines crossed, positions changed, and Michelsen soon got involved in a blockbuster Heat 6!
Huckenbeck charged to glory, beating Lebedevs and Michelsen as Lambert was pushed down to fourth, losing out on further points as he will head back to the drawing board for later on this evening.
HEAT 5 – KUBERA, KVECH, KURTZ, FRICKE
It was action from the start as Kubera and Kvech went head-to-head at the beginning of Heat 5! Kurtz soon charged into the lead, putting down the hammer from the launch in Manchester. Meanwhile, there were plenty of battles behind as Fricke launched into P2, while all eyes turned to the fight for third.
Kurtz took victory, winning convincingly as Fricke took second and Kubera held off Kvech to claim third position.

Kubera had an incredible run from the outside, storming into the lead and hopping to break the course of the outside gate. Wright worked hard in the opening stages, battling with Thomsen and Lebedevs, leaving Kubera to extend his margin at the front of the field.
Over the line, Kubera took victory, adding a further three points to his pockets, with Thomsen and Wright rounding out the top three as Lebedevs misses out in fourth.
HEAT 3 – HUCKENBECK, ZMARZLIK, FRICKE, DOYLE
Tapes up once more, with Zmarzlik nailing the start after a long pause to get action underway in Heat 3! The reigning champion stretched a gap immediately, leaving Huckenbeck and Fricke trailing as they continued to fight for the runner-up spot. It was high-speed action, with Zmarzlik showing his true class!
Zmarzlik took a convincing victory, mastering the conditions ahead of Huckenbeck as Fricke took the final point of the heat. Doyle was unable to find the time needed after he started from the outside gate.
HEAT 2 – KURTZ, HOLDER, MICHELSEN, BEWLEY
It was a strong start from the inside gate once more, with Kurtz becoming the lead rider at the start of Heat 2. Bewley worked hard at the start, struggling to match the pace of the front runners as the home hero sat in fourth. Holder was on the tail of Kurtz on the final lap, looking for an opportunity to pass!
Kurtz took the heat win, securing three points ahead of Holder and Michelsen after an interesting start to the evening. Bewley crossed the line in fourth, as the outside gate continues to look tricky!
HEAT 1 – KVECH, LAMBERT, LINDGREN, VACULIK
Round 5 is underway! Kvech takes the lead at the start of the heat, storming into P1 as Lambert has a tricky start, with a small wheelie from the #505. Lambert then took a very wide line, dropping back to third, with Lindgren becoming the rider to capitalise, setting his sights on the win as the riders entered their final lap.
Kvech charged to victory, with a confidence-boosting start to the evening after beating Lindgren and Lambert as Vaculik took the final spot in fourth.
