Maja Chwalinska once again steals the headlines as she breaks on her first match point to down the 22nd seed Anna Kalinskaya in one hour and 54 minutes.

The world number 114 will now meet Aryna Sabalenka or Diana Shnaider in the last four.

Chwalinska works her way to 30-15 with a lovely dropper and a crisp pick-up but Kalinskaya unloads off both flanks to turn the game around and push for a break.

The Polish qualifier battles to deuce but coughs up a second chance and fires a forehand long to give the 22nd seed a lifeline.
