Carlos Alcaraz produces another supreme display to oust the 20th seed in straight sets.
The world number two served out to love in one hour and 56 minutes to charge into the ninth Grand Slam semi-final of his career where he will meet either Novak Djokovic or Taylor Fritz.
Since 1978, Carlos Alcaraz (22 years 111 days) is the youngest player to reach Men’s Singles semi-finals on all three surfaces in multiple seasons (2023 and 2025) at Grand Slam events (stat via Opta Ace).

The Spaniard follows with clutch serves to tee up two set points, but Lehecka swoops forward to pick-up a drop shot and glide a wonderful crosscourt winner beyond the world number two’s reach.
Alcaraz then zaps a forehand up the line into the net to allow Jiri to make deuce, but a thumping first serve earns him a third chance.
This time the five-time major winner converts with a scorching forehand down the line to clinch the opener inside 42 minutes.

Lehecka has overcome that wobbly start to lift the first serve percentage and bring that big forehand into play.
Alcaraz can’t do as much damage on the return now and Jiri barks in delight as he poses the serve-out question with a routine game to 15.
