Rafael Nadal took to social media on Sunday night to post a video of his jubilant celebrations following Spain's World Cup final win over Argentina, which gave La Roja their second title after their triumph in 2010.

Ferran Torres' goal in extra time proved decisive in a match that Spain dominated throughout, despite Argentina's efforts to disrupt the European champions.
Despite some unsavoury scenes after the full-time whistle, Spain quickly got the party started, with world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz - having earlier brought out the World Cup trophy itself onto the pitch before the game - watching on from the stands.
Twenty-two time Grand Slam winner Nadal was not in attendance at the MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, but he did watch from home.
In a video shared on his social media, Nadal, wearing a white Spain shirt, threw his arms into the air as victory was confirmed.
Hugs were exchanged, before a chant of "ole, ole, ole, ole" broke out.
"LET'S GO," read the caption, in Spanish, on Nadal's X post. "WORLD CHAMPIONS FOR THE SECOND TIME!"
Nadal had outlined his support for the national team on social media the day before the final.
"Football has been one of my greatest passions ever since I was a kid," he wrote. "I've always enjoyed playing the game, watching matches and cheering on our national team.

Alcaraz, who was seen at the game celebrating after earlier bringing the trophy onto the pitch, also posted on X, writing: "VAMOOOOOOOS ESPANA!!!!!!!!!!!"
The two Spanish greats clearly enjoyed turning their attention to football and away from tennis.

Alcaraz was absent from both the French Open and Wimbledon this summer with a wrist injury, but could be fit in time to play at the US Open next month.

The 23-year-old, who has won seven Grand Slams, is expected to make his comeback at the Cincinnati Open in August, having not played since April.
Should he make his return in Cincinnati, Alcaraz will step on court as the defending champion. He secured victory 12 months ago after world No. 1 Jannik Sinner was forced to withdraw while 5-0 down in the first set of the final due to illness.
The Spaniard will hope a strong tournament in Cincinnati sets him up for a title defence at the US Open, which gets underway on August 30.
With Alcaraz sidelined, Sinner has won all five Masters titles so far this season, and will aim to make it six from six when the National Bank Open begins in Montreal on August 1.
