World No. 1 Jannik Sinner insists he is ready to defend his Wimbledon crown after making changes to his training regime - despite a lack of game time on grass in the build up to the third Grand Slam of the year following his early French Open exit.

The Italian has not played since his shock second-round defeat to Juan Manuel Cerundolo in Paris last month.
Sinner blew a two-set lead, having struggled in the Parisian heat, as he failed in his quest to win Roland-Garros for the first time.
Following his early exit in France, Sinner opted to rest rather than maximise his time on grass in preparation for Wimbledon.
The 24-year-old has since stepped up his practice schedule ahead of his first-round meeting with Serb Miomir Kecmanovic on Monday.
It marked the first time that Sinner had opted against competing in the Wimbledon warm-up events ahead of the famous tournament in SW19.
Sinner, though, insists he feels "good" before Wimbledon gets underway on Monday.

"I feel good," Sinner said on Saturday. "I think grass is a very different surface, obviously.
"If you play a tournament before here, maybe it's not going the way you would like to. You come here with some doubts.
"If you don't play any tournament, you don't have these doubts, you just go and play."
Ahead of his meeting with Kecmanovic, Sinner added: "First rounds, they're always going to be very tough. I know that mentally. We are preparing ourselves in the best possible way."
Sinner also revealed he has tinkered with his fitness regime ahead of Wimbledon amid soaring temperatures in the capital.
England has baked in 30-degree heat this past week, but temperatures should cool before the tournament gets underway.
"We did some changes," added Sinner. "I don't say big, big changes. But I always believe in small details, and small changes.
"We are happy at the moment with what we are doing. We're not going to see [the result of them] here. It's a long process. There's no magic behind it.
"But, yeah, we are doing as much as we can. I'm very happy with the work we did in the last two-and-a-half weeks. Very long days. I feel well-prepared."

'Every year is getting warmer'

Additionally, Sinner insists that all his pre-Wimbledon tests were "really good" as he looks to win a fifth career Grand Slam after the Paris heat ultimately ended his hopes of a first French Open success.
"General tests to see health-wise how I was, to be sure that all is okay with the body," he said. "All tests were really good.
"Even though we are very sure we need to practice in hotter conditions. I feel like everywhere where we play is going to be very hot. Every year is getting warmer and warmer."
Sinner is the favourite to win Wimbledon this year given Carlos Alcaraz's absence, and Novak Djokovic's advancing years.
Alexander Zverev will arguably provide Sinner's sternest test this summer, the German having claimed his first Grand Slam success at the French Open last month.
Wimbledon starts on Monday, June 29, and runs until Sunday, July 12 as Sinner and Iga Swiatek look to defend their respective men's and women's singles crowns.
