Finucane goes in the 1000m time trial final – the kilo – on Saturday, the penultimate day of the Games, before turning her attention to the keirin, and all eyes will be on the 23-year-old.
Her first gold arrived in the team sprint, when she helped Wales to a tight victory over Team England, and she doubled up on day eight with a dominant individual sprint triumph.
Finucane made it look easy in the final against her fellow Team GB cyclist Sophie Capewell, but she said afterwards that she was feeling the pressure of the moment.
"Oh my gosh, I was so nervous," she told TNT Sports.
"I mean, I executed it how I wanted to. Sophie on my wheel, I knew I needed to protect my inside. Obviously, at this track the finish line is very late so I knew I needed that last 100m to be as fast as I could, so I literally just gave it everything for the line.
"When I looked up and saw I’d won, I just couldn’t believe it. This only happens every four years and I’ve just won it. I just can’t believe it."

And on facing someone she knows so well in the gold medal showdown, she added: "It’s so hard. It’s almost more nerve-racking because you know each other. She knows my strengths and weaknesses and I know hers.
"That’s almost worse because you almost over-analyse. I really focused on myself.
"Soph raced amazingly. To have a one-two-three from GB on the podium is incredible. I’m just so happy that I won it."

Looking ahead, Finucane said that she is gunning for gold in the keirin. She won bronze in the event at the Paris 2024 Olympics and silver at last year’s World Championships, so she will be among the favourites.
However, the kilo is a bit of an unknown for her.
"I’ve never done the kilo in my life," she said. "Honestly, I am going to be looking at trying to win tomorrow in the keirin.
"I’m just trying to take it all in. I feel like this Games is happening way too fast. I’m going to give it my best shot out the gate and see what we can do.
"I rode it [the kilo] when I was 12, so hopefully I beat that time. I’m just going to send it and have a good time."
