Arsenal have just one game remaining this season and it is arguably their biggest of the season as they look to follow up winning the Premier League with UEFA Champions League glory.

The Gunners will seek to close their 2025/26 campaign with a second trophy, as they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final, live on TNT Sports and HBO Max on Saturday, May 30.

Arsenal wrapped up their domestic season with a 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace on Sunday, allowing fans to celebrate their first league title in 22 years with the players.

Manager Mikel Arteta rotated his starting XI for the clash at Selhurst Park as both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard made their first league starts for The Gunners.

Gabriel Jesus and Max Dowman also came into the team, the latter becoming the youngest ever Premier League starter at the age of 16 years and 144 days.

Mikel Merino also featured off the bench against The Eagles as the Spaniard made his first appearance since January on the final day of the season.

However, there are injury question marks hanging over some of Arsenal's key contributors as they seek to end their season with a double.

Jurrien Timber

Jurrien Timber has been plagued by injuries in the second half of the season.

The right-back has not played since March, with Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera asked to fill in for the Netherlands international.

But Timber did take part in Arsenal's training session on Wednesday in a boost to his potential chances of featuring against PSG.

"Jurrien, let's hope that he can do the same [as Merino's progress] in the next few days," Arteta said. "He's still a little bit further behind than Mikel at the moment."

Timber said last week that his recovery has "been a bit slower than expected" but he hopes to return soon.

"I'm working really hard, I'm trying really hard, and obviously playing in the Champions League final is a dream," the 24-year-old told Sky Sports.

"So I will give everything, and with the World Cup as well, but obviously, first the Champions League final. It's going to be amazing anyway."

Timber's national team manager, Ronald Koeman, also provided an update on the player's fitness on Monday.

"Jurrien has been dealing with this for quite some time," Koeman told Dutch outlet Ziggo. "He is now training up again to see if he can make the Champions League final and if he is available for the World Cup. It doesn’t look rosy at the moment."

Ben White

White has endured an injury-hit campaign but looked to be returning to his best in recent weeks.

That was until Arsenal's away fixture against West Ham United earlier this month when the defender limped off in the 28th minute.

"We have to wait and see. It looks like a long-term injury," Arteta said recently.

"At the moment, the focus is can we have him back and be available for Arsenal? That’s not going to happen in many, many weeks."

David Raya

David Raya did not feature for The Gunners on Sunday afternoon having revealed earlier in the week that he was battling a minor back injury.

The 30-year-old sustained the issue late on in the 1-0 win over Burnley and received treatment for the back complaint against The Clarets, though he saw out the narrow home triumph against the relegated Lancashire side.

Raya, though, played down the severity of the injury, telling Premier League Productions: "Yeah, I had a dead back, a dead glute and a dead shoulder, but I’ll be fine. Ice bath, I’m going straight away to the ice bath."

The Spain international showed no signs of discomfort during Arsenal's title celebrations on Sunday.

Noni Madueke

Another to come into the starting XI at Crystal Palace, Noni Madueke celebrated his 2026 World Cup call-up with a goal shortly after the break at Selhurst Park.

There were worrying signs, however, in the latter stages of the clash as the winger appeared to be clutching his hamstring before he was withdrawn for Viktor Gyokeres.

The club have not provided an update on the England international, who seemed well enough to take part in Arsenal's title celebrations.

A report from ESPN has since claimed that the 24-year-old is set to feature on Saturday, with cramp and exhaustion the actual cause for his withdrawal at Selhurst Park.

Christian Norgaard

Christian Norgaard's first Premier League start for Arsenal ended after just 45 minutes as the Denmark international was replaced by Kai Havertz for the second half at Crystal Palace.

Like Madueke, Arsenal are yet to explain the reason behind Norgaard's half-time withdrawal on Sunday, although the former Brentford man was seen chatting with a club physio as he made his way off the pitch at the break.
