Aston Villa take on Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League final in Istanbul on May 20 after an ultimately convincing 4-1 semi-final aggregate victory over Nottingham Forest.
Chris Wood scored the first leg's only goal from the spot in a raucous all-English affair which involved VAR controversy.
That gave Vitor Pereira's team a slender 1-0 lead to protect, but Unai Emery's side roared back with an emphatic 4-0 win at Villa Park thanks to John McGinn's brace, Emi Buendia's penalty and a strike from Ollie Watkins.
Villa will now look to end a 30-year wait for a major trophy as the club seek to claim a second major European honour, 44 years after winning the first.
This will be Emery's sixth Europa League final, having won four of his previous five.
The only blemish on that record came during his time at Arsenal, losing against Chelsea in 2019.
Their opponents will be Freiburg after the Bundesliga side battled past Braga with a 3-1 win on the night that saw them overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg.

Could there be an extra Champions League space?
Should Villa win on Wednesday and finish fifth in the Premier League, then the European Performance Spot - given as a reward for English clubs' progress in continental competition this season - will be given to the team which comes sixth.
That will be of interest to Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion, who both have a chance of finishing in that position.
It is a two-way tussle for sixth heading into the final game of the season after Andoni Iraola's side drew with Manchester City on Tuesday, handing the Premier League title to Arsenal.
