Arsenal face Everton in Saturday's early Premier League kick-off, live on TNT Sports and discovery+, looking to close the sizeable gap to which they trail runaway leaders Liverpool in the title race.
The Gunners beat Fulham 2-1 on Tuesday to initially close within nine points of Arne Slot's side, but the leaders' 1-0 win over Merseyside rivals Everton restored the 12-point gap.
Mikel Arteta's side were boosted by the return of Bukayo Saka in their victory at The Emirates. After being sidelined since December, the England international netted Arsenal's second goal seven minutes after being introduced as a substitute.
Saka's return serves as a timely boost for The Gunners as they prepare for a UEFA Champions League quarter-final meeting with holders Real Madrid on Tuesday.
But, before that, David Moyes' Everton stand in their way. And despite The Toffees' bounce under the returning manager stalling in recent weeks, they have still proved a difficult side to beat.
Despite failing to win in their last five matches, Moyes' side have lost just once in that time, and that came in the form of the slender, single-goal defeat at Anfield on Wednesday.
Arsenal likley cannot afford to drop any more points in their unlikely pursuit for the Premier League title, setting up an intriguing Saturday lunchtime encounter.
