Ally vs Fletch Premier League predictions: As final results revealed, was correctly calling Arsenal's 2-1 win at Crystal Palace enough?

The 2025/26 Premier League season reached a dramatic conclusion on Sunday as all 20 teams battled it out at the top and bottom of the table.

Arsenal lifted the iconic trophy for the first time in 22 years at Selhurst Park, Manchester City said farewell to legendary manager Pep Guardiola at Etihad Stadium, and West Ham United were relegated despite an impressive 3-0 against Leeds United at London Stadium.
That was not all, though. There was still everything to play for in the race for Europe, with spots in next season’s UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League all up for grabs.
TNT Sports duo Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher also had a lot to play for heading into the final day of their Premier League predictions for this season.
Heading into the final round, Fletch enjoyed a slender three-point lead with 16 wins compared to Ally's 13.

Manchester United appointed Michael Carrick as their permanent manager last week after a successful spell as interim boss.
Their new era got off to a flying start as they thrashed Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 away from home, despite both Ally and Fletch predicting a 2-2 draw.
Fletch was spot on when it came to the bottom-of-the-table clash between relegated sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley, correctly predicting a 1-1 draw.
However, Ally came out on top at Selhurst Park, where he foresaw that Arsenal would beat Conference League finalists Crystal Palace 2-1.

Neither TNT Sports expert correctly guessed that Fulham against Newcastle United would finish 2-0 to Marco Silva's side.
They also both backed Liverpool to win. However, The Reds could only muster a 1-1 draw in Mohamed Salah's final game for the club against Brentford.
Guardiola's last Premier League match in charge of Manchester City also ended on a disappointing note as his side lost 2-1 to UEFA Europa League winners Aston Villa. Ally and Fletch both backed the FA Cup holders to come out on top.

They also both thought Bournemouth would beat Nottingham Forest 2-1, only to see the match end as a 1-1 draw.
However, Ally was right about Sunderland's crucial fixture with Chelsea at the Stadium of Light, correctly predicting a 2-1 win for the hosts.
Both Ally and Fletch expected Tottenham Hotspur against Everton to end as a draw, but Spurs secured their Premier League survival with a 1-0 win over The Toffees.
Finally, both TNT Sports experts expected a 2-1 win for West Ham, who instead secured an emphatic 3-0 win against Leeds.
