When are Premier League fixtures announced?
The full fixture list for the 2026/27 Premier League season will be unveiled at 10:00 UK time on Friday, June 19, providing clubs and supporters with their first detailed look at the campaign ahead.
You will be able to view the full schedule on the TNT Sports website as soon as the fixtures are released.
Why does the season start later than usual?
The Premier League has confirmed that the 2026/27 season will commence on Saturday, August 22, but the past few seasons have started on a Friday night.
The campaign concludes on Sunday, May 30, 2027 - a week before the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, June 5, which will be live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
The start of the new campaign has been scheduled one week later than in 2025/26, reflecting the growing demands of an increasingly congested global football calendar.

The adjustment underscores the Premier League’s continued commitment to player welfare, providing a longer recovery period between major competitions and domestic commitments.
By beginning on August 22, the league will allow for an 89-day break following the conclusion of the current season, as well as a 33-day interval after the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.
The revised timetable is designed to give players additional time to rest and recover ahead of another demanding campaign. As is tradition, all fixtures on the final day of the season will kick off simultaneously.

Any schedule changes from last season?
The 2026/27 Premier League season will again be played across 33 weekends and five midweek rounds, maintaining a schedule designed to balance competitive demands with player welfare considerations.
Crucially, after just one Boxing Day game last term as a result of the expansion of European club competitions, the long-standing tradition will return with a bigger allocation of games owing to the date - December 26 - falling on a Saturday.
A key feature of the calendar, however, is the continued commitment to easing fixture congestion during the festive period.
Over Christmas and New Year, the Premier League have confirmed that no two match rounds will be scheduled within 60 hours of one another, ensuring clubs and players are afforded adequate recovery time during one of the busiest stretches of the campaign.
