United make Nkunku move
French publication L’Equipe believes that Manchester United have made initial contact with representatives of Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku.
The 27-year-old Frenchman is open to leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, and the coming days will see United make their decision.
The outlet writes: "During a period where many of the biggest European clubs are at the Club World Cup, Manchester United are able to take advantage and look for a number of deals in the transfer market.
"The English club have contacted the entourage of Christopher Nkunku in recent days to understand the demands they might need to meet for any transfer. So far, they have yet to make a bid."
While United have signed Matheus Cunha already, they still hope to add at least two more attackers, and it is not a case of choosing between Bryan Mbeumo and the Chelsea man, the paper adds.
Pogba on the verge of Monaco deal
Le Parisien and RMC Sport both believe that former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set on a move to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
The 32-year-old has been without a club since his contract was terminated by Juventus last November, but he hopes to find his best form again in the Principality.
RMC Sports explains: "Without a club since his contract was terminated by Juventus in November, Paul Pogba is on the verge of joining AS Monaco. The 2018 World Cup winner wants to join the club and has already found a place to live.
"It is at Monaco that Paul Pogba wants to relaunch his career. As indicated by Le Parisien and confirmed by RMC Sport, the 32-year-old French midfielder will join Monaco."
Bayer want former Bayern striker Tillman
Bayer Leverkusen are looking at reinforcing their attacking line-up following the sale of Florian Wirtz to Liverpool.
One option is former Bayern Munich striker Malik Tillman, who has a release clause of €30 million at his current club, PSV Eindhoven.
Eurosport France writes: "Bayer 04 Leverkusen is currently exploring the transfer market to sign a successor to Florian Wirtz. Apparently, the hunt could lead to a former Bayern striker. Kicker reports that the 2024 double winner is interested in Malik Tillman, who could play a central role. The Werkself's interest already appears to be very concrete.
"Sky also reports that initial talks have already taken place. Tillman is currently under contract with PSV Eindhoven."
The 22-year-old American scored 16 goals for the Dutch club last season, and has three goals in three appearances at the Gold Cup this summer.
The story adds: "According to the report, Tillman's contract, which runs until 2028, contains an exit clause.
"This is approximately €30m. However, FC Bayern has a buyback option of €35m."

Ter Stegen and Flick set to discuss keeper’s future
Spanish publication AS suggests that Marc-Andre ter Stegen could be steered towards the Camp Nou exit by Barcelona coach Hansi Flick.
The keeper may now be down the pecking order after Joan Garcia’s arrival, and Wojciech Szczesny’s new contract further adds to the uncertainty before the pair meet to discuss the German’s future.
AS writes: "Ter Stegen, currently in Greece on vacation, has expressed his intention to stay at Barca, but that clashes with his interest in playing in the 2026 World Cup if, as it seems, the bet is on Joan Garcia.
"Everything is pending, however, ahead of a face-to-face meeting that Barca coach Hansi Flick has pending with the German goalkeeper. It will likely take place days before the start of Barca's pre-season on July 13. The Barca coach doesn't want to hide his true colours. He has been involved in the bid for the former Espanyol goalkeeper and will bluntly explain the situation to Ter Stegen."
AS adds that Flick will respect the German keeper’s contract, just as he did with Ilkay Gundogan, but will be clear that he may have little opportunity to play.
