Bayern 'seriously considering' move for Gordon
Bayern Munich are considering a move for Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany.
The England international is reportedly the Bundesliga side’s top target for the left wing, as someone who can compete with former Liverpool man Luis Diaz.
Newcastle and Bayern are not in contact, according to Plettenberg, but talks between Gordon's representatives and the German outfit have taken place.
The 25-year-old still has four years left on his deal at St James’ Park, having signed a long-term extension in 2024, and Newcastle are keen to keep hold of him.
However, this has not stopped speculation around his future in the north east, with Bayern now among those eyeing a potential move.
Plettenberg reports on social media: ”FC Bayern are seriously considering a move for Anthony Gordon.
”The 25 [year old] is currently the preferred candidate for the left wing as a back-up and competitor for Luis Díaz.
”Gordon has been informed. Concrete talks have already taken place, though the clubs are not yet in contact. [Newcastle] want to keep him.”

Man Utd 'could be an option' for Leao
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Manchester United could be a potential destination for AC Milan's wantaway winger Rafael Leao.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona are two clubs that have been keen on making a move for Leao in the past and have "seriously considered" the 26-year-old, who is "in trouble with AC Milan".
The Portugal winger looks set to move on from the Serie A giants, with United among the clubs interested in him.
"Rafa Leao is in trouble with AC Milan, and for foreign clubs, this is a business opportunity," the Italian outlet read. "He's never had such a bad relationship with his fans. Never, after his contract renewal, has it been possible to call AC Milan and start negotiations for such a reasonable price."
The report continued: "The Premier League and Saudi Arabia, political situation permitting, are the most logical options.
"Leao is a player with big potential who can significantly influence the club's performance due to his very limited defensive contribution. He needs an admirer, someone willing to work on him on the pitch and psychologically.
"Bayern and Barcelona have been the two teams most interested in him in the recent past: they've given him serious consideration. Manchester United could be an option more than other clubs. The big variable, perhaps, is the World Cup.
"Those interested would be wise to move sooner to avoid a couple of American goals boosting Rafa's value, but Leao hasn't scored for his country since November 2024. So many will wait, postponing the matter until July. For Milan, who are in a hurry to imagine the future, it's a complication."

Silva not short of suitors
Bernardo Silva is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the season and Barcelona are interested in picking up the six-time Premier League winner on a free transfer.
Silva has been strongly linked with a return to Benfica, while a move to Saudi Arabia has not been ruled out either.
However, reporter Nicolo Schira has said that Silva could continue to play at the top level because several elite clubs are interested.
"Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City as a free agent at the end of the season," he wrote on social media.
"Several clubs are at the window and have shown interest in him: Barca, Juventus, Galatasaray, Benfica and Saudi [Pro League] clubs are in the race."

Newcastle keen on Real Madrid star
Newcastle United are one of the clubs keen on Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia, according to a Spanish report.
Football Espana has reported: "Real Madrid are preparing to part ways with several first-team players. Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga and Dani Ceballos have all been mentioned as likely candidates to depart the Bernabeu, and another that now looks set to be on their way out is Gonzalo Garcia.
"It’s been an up-and-down season for Gonzalo, who established himself as a first-team player during last summer’s Club World Cup. But due to the presence of Kylian Mbappe, he has not had much of a look-in, with the vast majority of his 33 appearances having come from the bench."

The report adds that Madrid are expected to sell the 22-year-old while his value is still high, with one Premier League club particularly interested.
"There is sure to be no shortage of suitors for Gonzalo, given that his stock is high on the back of his efforts in a Real Madrid jersey," the report continued.
"At this stage, the Premier League would be the most likely destination for the 22-year-old, with Newcastle United having recently been credited with an interest in his services."
