Bayern Munich are setting their sights on Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon this summer, rather than Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

A report in the Mirror claims that Barcelona want to extend the England international’s loan deal at the club for another term, rather than trigger their £26 million option to buy.
That has opened the door for other clubs to swoop in, but Bayern are not interested in Rashford as they prioritise a deal for Gordon.
The Mirror writes: "His outstanding form for the Catalan club, coupled with their apparent reluctance to push through a permanent deal this summer, has seen Rashford linked with several top sides.
"Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern are amongst those mentioned in recent weeks, but BILD journalist Christian Falk insists the German giants have no interest.
"He states Bayern are focused on landing Anthony Gordon, with his agent touching down in Germany earlier this week to thrash out a potential switch to the Bundesliga.
"Newcastle have set a reported asking price of £80m for Gordon, with Bayern seeking to strike a deal closer to £60m."

Man Utd face mass exodus
Manchester United are prepared to allow as many as nine players to leave this summer, reports the Mirror.
Casemiro has already agreed to leave the club, but, according to the outlet, several other players will also depart Old Trafford this summer to allow for new central midfield signings.
"Central midfield is where they want to make multiple signings to provide competition for their current options," states the outlet.
"Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia will both be on the way out, too, when their deals run out over the coming months.
"Napoli are also obliged to sign Rasmus Hojlund permanently for £38million if they qualify for the Champions League.
"Barcelona, however, have no obligation to sign Marcus Rashford permanently; only a £20million option. However, he could yet spend a second season on loan at the Catalan club next season.
"The Times claims Trabzonspor are also keen on keeping Andre Onana permanently beyond his current loan spell there. Altay Bayindir could be going back to Turkey, too, with the deputy goalkeeper free to leave.
"Joshua Zirkzee is another player United are open to letting go, with a return to Italy most likely.
"Elliot Anderson is emerging as United's top target, but with Nottingham Forest reportedly seeking £120million, there are several other candidates."

Villa target PSG teenager
Aston Villa have added Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ibrahim Mbaye to their shortlist, as they prepare for life in next season's Champions League.
Unai Emery’s side are on course to qualify for next season’s top European competition, as they currently occupy fifth place, eight points ahead of Brighton & Hove Albion in sixth.
As a result, they wish to bolster their squad over the summer, and have identified Mbaye, 18, as an attacking option.

"Aston Villa are monitoring Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ibrahim Mbaye as they brace themselves for another busy summer in the transfer market," states the Mail.
"Daily Mail Sport understands Villa will target younger players this summer with Mbaye among those they admire.
"Yet the deal would not be easy. Though Mbaye has only two years left on his contract, Villa will not be the only club to show interest. That will push up the transfer fee and Villa must be careful to stay within Premier League and UEFA financial rules.
"With Morgan Rogers likely to be targeted by the Premier League’s wealthiest clubs, and others like Leon Bailey and Jadon Sancho likely to move on, Villa are looking for players who can operate across the attacking line."
