Liverpool target Jacquet

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Liverpool have identified 20-year-old Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet as their No. 1 target should Ibrahima Konate leave.
Konate is in the final year of his contract, and has long been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid.
The report claims: "Looking to bolster their defense - and especially to guard against the potential departure of Ibrahima Konate - Liverpool have targeted one name in red: Jeremy Jacquet.
"The young defender has been scouted extensively this season. And each time, the Reds' scouts have come away with the same impression: this lad has something special.
"The Frenchman is currently one of the most favored profiles by the recruitment team. This anticipated investment seems quite logical, given that Jacquet was also officially scouted by Liverpool this season. This is a hot topic."

Brighton reveal Baleba asking price

Tavolieri has also claimed that Brighton’s Carlos Baleba has expressed his desire to join Manchester United, with Bayern Munich also interested.
United reportedly tried to sign the Cameroon international during the summer but were put off by Brighton’s asking price for the 21-year-old midfielder. Tavolieri has claimed that Brighton would be open to a sale, provided they receive €85 million (£74m) for the player.
The report states: "Brighton could consider offers of around €85m in 2026 for Carlos Baleba.
"This sum is giving Bayern Munich pause for thought, where Leon Goretzka's future remains uncertain. The 21-year-old Cameroonian appears on Bayern's shortlist, but internally, some are reluctant to pay so much for the Douala native.
"In reality, the player has a clear preference, and Baleba favors Manchester United.
"The Manchester club, put off by the Seagulls' exorbitant demands, has explored other options in recent days."

Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea battle for Bouaddi

According to Foot Mercato, Lille’s 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi is attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid.
The teenager is reportedly expected to leave Lille next summer, with the club seeking a transfer fee in the region of €60m (£52m).
As per Foot Mercato: "Although he recently extended his contract, Bouaddi is a highly sought-after player in the transfer market.
"According to our sources, major clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan are interested, as is PSG. In Doha, they greatly appreciate his profile. But they are not the only ones.
"Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Juventus have also made their interest known.
"LOSC is not opposed to a sale, of course, and is expecting around €60 million to let its prized player go. As proof, president Olivier Letang has already tasked several agents to bring in offers for the player."

Man Utd reject initial Zirkzee approach

According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have rejected an approach from Roma for Joshua Zirkzee.
Roma reportedly proposed a loan with an option to buy that would become active should the Serie A side qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
While the Netherlands international is said to be enthusiastic about the move, United reportedly hold the key to any deal.
Corriere dello Sport claims: "The Dutch striker wants the Giallorossi. However, United's blessing is missing for this marriage to happen, as they have already declined Roma's initial offer, a loan with an option to buy tied to Champions League qualification."
