Arsenal agree to sell Norgaard to Everton
Arsenal have agreed a fee in the region of £7m with Everton for the sale of midfielder Christian Norgaard.
A medical is scheduled for next week, signalling Arsenal's confidence in securing primary target Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United.
Norgaard, 32, was well down the pecking order at the Emirates after his move from Brentford.
The Mirror explains: "Arsenal have reached an agreement to sell midfielder Christian Norgaard to Everton, in a hint over their confidence in completing a deal for Bruno Guimaraes. The Brazilian is a key transfer target for Arsenal this summer.
”As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Arsenal have agreed a fee in the region of £7million with Everton over the sale of Norgaard. A medical is due to take place next week, ahead of the move being finalised.
”Despite the lack of game time, selling the midfielder indicates that Arsenal expect more additions in the position, with Guimaraes emerging as a priority addition. Arsenal's interest in the Newcastle midfielder comes at a time of chaos at St James' Park."
Diomande left out of RB Leipzig squad amid Real talks
RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande will not join the squad for their pre-season training camp in Austria as negotiations continue over a transfer to Real Madrid.
While Leipzig maintain that the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international is absent due to illness, negotiations with Real Madrid remain ongoing following Paris Saint-Germain's exit from the race.
The Athletic reports: "Yan Diomande will not travel with RB Leipzig to the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria as the club continues to negotiate with Real Madrid over his transfer.
”The Athletic reported last week Madrid were expected to reach an agreement with the German club for the 19-year-old winger, following Paris Saint-Germain’s withdrawal from negotiations.
”Leipzig insist the Ivory Coast international will not travel with his team-mates due to feeling unwell and his absence is unrelated to his future, with head coach Martin Demichelis telling Sky Germany that the winger was ‘genuinely ill’."
Celta Vigo target Man Utd keeper Bayindir
Celta Vigo are pursuing a deal for Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
The 28-year-old Turkey international, who served as a substitute in United's friendly against Atletico Madrid, is weighing multiple offers after previous suitor Besiktas opted to sign Alexander Nubel instead.
Bayindir was behind Senne Lammens in the pecking order at Old Trafford last season.
The Mail claims: "Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is a target for Spanish side Celta Vigo.
”The Turkey international was on the bench on Saturday for United's friendly against Atletico Madrid.
”Bayindir had interest from Besiktas early in the window but they have since signed Alexander Nubel from Bayern Munich.
”The 28-year-old Bayindir has other offers but Vigo are hopeful of reaching an agreement."
