Liverpool target Semenyo

Sky's Florian Plettenberg believes that Liverpool will try to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo when the transfer window opens in January.
Semenyo has been in sensational form this season, producing six goals and three assists in 11 Premier League appearances.
The Reds enjoyed a busy summer transfer window, but they have struggled to replicate last season’s form and are currently 12th in the Premier League table.
Plettenberg claims that they could activate Semenyo’s €70 million (£61.5m) release clause in an attempt to turn their campaign around.
"Understand Liverpool are seriously working on Antoine Semenyo for the winter window, and concrete talks have already taken place," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"LFC are fully aware of his release clause of around €70 million. Liverpool want him, but there is heavy competition, with other top English sides involved.
"Bayern are currently not in the race. The 25 y/o versatile winger is under contract with Bournemouth until 2030."

Premier League clubs in for Ouedraogo

RB Leipzig youngster Assan Ouedraogo is attracting interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, according to Sky Sports Germany.
The 19-year-old has made a huge impact in the Bundesliga this term, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 11 appearances.
His performances have helped Leipzig emerge as Bayern Munich’s closest challengers in the German top flight this season.
They are currently second in the table, six points behind the defending champions, but Sky Sports Germany say Ouedraogo could be on the move soon.
"The 19-year-old is currently revealing his full potential, which, according to Sky Sports information, has not escaped the notice of the Premier League giants," read the article.
"As Sky Sports has already revealed, several top clubs have their eye on Assan Ouedraogo (contract until 2029).
"Now the interest is becoming more concrete, and Sky Sports knows that two heavyweights of English football, Chelsea and Manchester United, are among those monitoring the new German international."

Silva set to leave City

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano thinks Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City on a free transfer in the summer.
The 31-year-old joined City from Monaco in the summer of 2017 and has enjoyed a spectacular journey with the club, winning six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.

His current contract with the club is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, and Romano doubts that he will sign a new deal.
"At the moment, still nothing is decided," he said during an episode of the Here We Go Podcast with Fabrizio Romano.
"Still nothing is communicated between Bernardo and Manchester City.
"Nothing is confirmed or official, but my feeling while talking to sources is that Bernardo Silva has a very good chance of leaving Manchester City this summer, go on a free, and try a different chapter."

Greenwood could make Spain switch

Reports from Spain are suggesting that former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood could leave Marseille to join Atletico Madrid.
Fichajes have reported that the French club have put an €80m (£70m) price tag on Greenwood after an impressive start to the season.
The 24-year-old has 10 goals and three assists in 12 Ligue 1 appearances this term.
Now he could be on his way to one of the biggest clubs in La Liga.
"Mason Greenwood's name is once again being strongly linked with Atletico de Madrid ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window," read the article.
"The English striker fits the profile Diego Simeone is looking to strengthen, seeking a versatile attacker with the ability to unbalance defences and finish in the final third.
"His recent development at Olympique de Marseille has brought him back into the European spotlight, fueling Atletico's interest in a signing that could represent a significant step up in La Liga."
