New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola wants reunion with Rayan and Eli Junior Kroupi, Manchester United learn Mateus Fernandes price - Paper Round

Concurrently, The Reds are locked in negotiations over RB Leipzig’s £120 million-rated forward Yan Diomande as they look to secure a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

The i Paper reports: ”Andoni Iraola’s appointment as Liverpool boss has opened the door for The Reds to make a move for Bournemouth’s Brazil international Rayan – but not until January at the earliest. 

”Liverpool are in talks with RB Leipzig over their coveted forward Yan Diomande but the 19-year-old is valued at around £120m by the Bundesliga club. The Ivory Coast international is understood to be keen on the move – and the prospect of becoming Salah’s heir – but there would need to be movement on the price before the transfer can move forward. 

”[Rayan] has a release clause that activates in January but it is a whopping £130m before it lowers in value in each subsequent transfer window. 

”There’s an expectation that he will stay. As previously reported by The i Paper there is also an expectation that Eli Junior Kroupi will stay on the south coast this summer. 

”Bournemouth do acknowledge that the player – who is also a target for Arsenal and Manchester City – is a ‘special case’.

"He has no release clause and his price tag would be ‘well in excess’ of £100m if anyone were ready to test the market.”

West Ham United have established an £80m valuation for midfielder Mateus Fernandes as they prepare for life in the Championship. 

Despite reported interest from Manchester United, The Hammers are yet to receive any direct proposals for the 21-year-old but expect him to form part of their summer fire sale.

The Sun explains: ”West Ham sources say United have had no direct contact with West Ham over Mateus Fernandes. In fact, the London Stadium has heard from no clubs. 

”Despite relegation, Fernandes, 21, has impressed and is expected to depart the east London club. 

”The Hammers need to raise more than £100m in sales. And they value the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder at £80m. Domestic transfers can be made between Premier League and EFL clubs when the window opens on June 15.”

Bayern Munich are exploring a summer deal to lure teenage winger Rio Ngumoha away from Liverpool. The German heavyweights see the young attacker as an ideal long-term option on the left, but The Reds have no desire to part with their prized breakout star.

The Mirror states: ”Bayern Munich are said to be exploring an ambitious move for Liverpool's teenage sensation Rio Ngumoha this summer.

”The Bavarians want to bolster their frontline and have identified the teenager as the ideal addition to the left side of their attack. 

”Ngumoha enjoyed a breakout season for The Reds and was a rare bright light in an otherwise underwhelming campaign. 

”The winger signed his first professional deal in September, which ties him to Anfield until June 2028, and Liverpool have no plans to sell one of their brightest prospects. Instead they want to further bolster their own attack after their well documented struggles.”

Newcastle United are moving closer to a deal with Reims for French youth international goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen. 

The 20-year-old is viewed as a highly encouraging developmental prospect, meaning Eddie Howe's side are still expected to sign an additional, more experienced shot-stopper alongside him.

The Athletic reports: ”Newcastle United are progressing in negotiations with Reims to sign France Under-21 international goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen and are hopeful a deal will be struck. 

”The 20-year-old has been identified as an exciting prospect, though the highest level at which he has played in senior football is Ligue 2, the French second division. 

”Jaouen’s inexperience at the top level means he is unlikely to immediately be thrust into the No. 1 spot after arriving, with at least one further goalkeeper expected to join this summer, should Newcastle conclude a deal for the Frenchman.”
