Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Senne Lammens on transfer deadline day from Belgian club Royal Antwerp.
United paid a reported €21 million (£18.1m) plus add-ons, with the 23-year-old signing a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Speaking about his move, Lammens said: "I am extremely proud to be joining Manchester United; it is a real dream come true.
"The past few years have been an amazing journey; it’s now ended in an incredible destination and hopefully the beginning of something special."
United moved to provide further strength in the goalkeeper position after an unconvincing start to the season from Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
Ruben Amorim's side have conceded six goals in their first four matches and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town.
Despite their recent struggles, Lammens is confident better times are coming to Old Trafford.
Lammens said: "You can feel the positive atmosphere that is being created here, and I know that I can make a real impact at the club in the coming years.
"I cannot wait to get to know my team-mates and begin working with Ruben and the coaching staff. This is the perfect place to keep developing, grow together with this exciting team and achieve my career objectives."
Lammens was a Belgian Super Cup winner in 2023 with Royal Antwerp and celebrated his first call-up to the Belgium senior squad earlier this year.
He also kept the most clean sheets in the Belgian Pro League last season.
Director of football, Jason Wilcox said: "Senne is an excellent young goalkeeper with great potential; we are delighted that he has chosen to join Manchester United after significant interest from a number of clubs."
