Bayern not interested in Salah

Bayern Munich will not target Mohamed Salah when he leaves Liverpool this summer, according to Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk.
Salah confirmed last month that he will leave The Reds at the end of this season after nine years at Anfield.
There has been speculation over where the winger will play next season, and links with Bayern were fueled after Egypt's national team director Ibrahim Hassan said he ”heard about offers from Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and clubs in the Italian league”.
But Falk insists this is not the case, telling his CF Bayern Insider podcast: ”There is no offer for Salah – it’s simply not true.
”There are some interesting constellations, as everyone knows Salah is heading off this summer, and one possible successor that has been mooted for Liverpool is Bazoumana Toure. He’s also on the list of Bayern Munich.
”Perhaps they’ll enter talks for this player. And if both clubs are in for the Hoffenheim star, things could get very interesting. But they won’t enter talks with Salah.”

It comes after the club’s sporting director, Max Eberl, dismissed rumours that the Bavarians were actively pursuing the forward.
Eberl said to Winwin: "No, Mohamed Salah has not received any offer from Bayern Munich."

Lewandowski offers himself to Milan

Robert Lewandowski would favour a move to AC Milan if he departs Barcelona this summer and has offered himself to the Italian club, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Poland striker, whose contract in Catalonia expires this summer, is reportedly wanting to explore options with Milan, who are keen on signing him despite his wages, valuing the goals and experience he will bring.
Lewandowski’s representatives met with AC Milan this week to hear the Serie A side’s offer, according to the report.
The former Bayern Munich man has also reportedly been approached by Juventus, as well as clubs from the Saudi Pro League and MLS side Chicago Fire.
The Gazzetta report reads: ”The Pole's contract with Barcelona is expiring this summer: Milan would sign him without a transfer fee.
”This is why the striker's managers are working to explore new opportunities: after [Bayern] and Barcelona, Lewandowski wants another major European club, and Milan is one of them.
”To say that Lewandowski is offering himself almost understates his appeal; he's certainly looking for another major challenge.
”Milan, which is once again aiming for an international revival, is one of them: which is why Robert has chosen to step up his game.”

Real Madrid consider Deschamps

Real Madrid are considering France boss Didier Deschamps as a potential replacement for Alvaro Arbeloa, according to RMC Sport
The 57-year-old will step down from his position with the French National team following this summer’s World Cup after 14 years in charge.
Having taken over at the Bernabeu in January following Xabi Alonso’s sacking, current boss Arbeloa’s chances of staying in the role beyond this season are reportedly slimming.
Silverware is looking increasingly unlikely, with Madrid seven points off the pace in La Liga and a goal down in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.
The Spanish giants have reportedly started to consider a number of candidates for next season, with Deschamps among the names.
The report reads: ”The end of Didier Deschamps' tenure as manager of the French national team is being closely watched by major clubs looking for a renowned coach.
”Among them is Real Madrid, which has made the French national team manager one of its targets.
”Despite Florentino Perez's friendship with Alvaro Arbeloa, it's indeed difficult to keep him in his position without significant successes, and at the moment, the outlook isn't optimistic.
”In this context, Real Madrid has begun considering a list of coaches capable of steering this difficult ship. According to our information, Didier Deschamps is on this shortlist.”
