Manchester United weigh up bid for Everton star Iliman Ndiaye, Jarrod Bowen makes decision on future at West Ham United - Paper Round

The Red Devils are in search of a left-winger and could turn to Ndiaye as they weigh up their summer options.

Ederson is set to join Man Utd but Michael Carrick will be expecting a busy summer of activity as they look to boost their squad ahead of a return to the UEFA Champions League.

Ndiaye has scored 17 goals in 71 appearances since joining Everton from Marseille in 2024.

The Mirror writes: "Manchester United have placed Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye on their shortlist as they consider their options for recruiting a left-winger during the summer transfer window. United have not yet made a formal approach for the 26-year-old Senegal international, but he is being tracked at Old Trafford during what is anticipated to be a hectic few months.

"The urgency to secure a left-winger isn't quite as pressing as it was six months ago, with Patrick Dorgu's development in that role and Matheus Cunha's displays there providing Michael Carrick with alternatives, but it remains an area under consideration during the window.

"United had shown some interest in RB Leipzig's 19-year-old Yan Diomande earlier this year, but Liverpool are now frontrunners in the pursuit of the Ivory Coast international, on whom the Bundesliga side have placed an £86 million price tag."

West Ham United want to keep a hold of Jarrod Bowen despite being relegated from the Premier League - and the player wants to stay.

The Sun claims a host of Premier League clubs are interested in The Hammers' captain, but Bowen has a willingness to remain at the club.

The report reads: "West Ham have told Jarrod Bowen’s suitors they want to keep their captain at the club this summer.

"Bowen, 29, has stated his desire to get The Hammers back to the Premier League after their relegation.

"The winger, who missed out on England’s World Cup squad, has admirers at Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle, but there have not been any formal approaches from other clubs so far.

"While West Ham need to raise around £100m in sales, they are hopeful they will not need to sell their skipper this summer.

"One factor which could be key in keeping Bowen at the London Stadium is his salary.

"A number of Hammers players have a 50% wage cut following relegation.

"SunSport can reveal, however, that Bowen’s wage of more than £100,000-a-week is not set to reduce despite relegation."

Brighton & Hove Albion have rejected a £70m bid from Tottenham Hotspur for defender Jan Paul van Hecke, according to The Telegraph.

Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old, but Spurs are determined to reunite the Dutchman with former boss Roberto De Zerbi.

Van Hecke was a regular in De Zerbi's Brighton team of 2023/24 when they featured in the UEFA Europa League.

"Tottenham Hotspur have fired the starting gun in the race to sign Jan Paul van Hecke, the £70m-rated Brighton and Hove Albion defender, but have had their initial bid rejected," reads the article.

"The Dutch international, who turns 26 on Monday, is very much in demand with Chelsea and Liverpool also interested – but Spurs are hoping that the chance to work again with manager Roberto De Zerbi will prove decisive. It is not clear at what level Spurs made their initial offer for the centre-back.

"With one year left on his deal, Van Hecke is a natural candidate for sale this summer for Brighton. No new contract has been agreed with the player and, as a trading club, Brighton would need to realise full value for the player. Tony Bloom, the Brighton chairman, has secured excellent deals for his best players over the years, including the three most lucrative sales, which were all to Chelsea: Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Joao Pedro."

Arsenal are in "advanced talks" to sign 16-year-old Jeremy Monga from Leicester.

Metro, and other outlets, claim The Gunners are closing in on the teenage winger, who has agreed a professional contract with Leicester, which starts when he turns 17 on July 10.

Monga, who made 27 appearances for Leicester in the Championship last term, could cost between £10m and £15m.

The Metro writes: "Jeremy Monga has opened the door to a move to Arsenal with the Premier League champions now in advanced talks to sign the Leicester City winger, according to reports.

"Leicester face the prospect of losing Monga this summer following their relegation from the Championship and the 16-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs in the Premier League and across Europe.

"Chelsea and Manchester United are among the Premier League clubs who have registered their interest in signing Monga this summer.

"However, Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal are now pushing ahead with a deal for Monga as the winger has indicated that he would agree a move to Mikel Arteta’s side.

"Leicester are understood to be holding out for a transfer fee between £10 million and £15m."
