According to French outlet RMC Sport, Julian Alvarez is on Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer shortlist for this summer.

The former Manchester City forward, who has also been linked with a move to Barcelona and Arsenal, has been a talismanic figure at Atletico Madrid this term, netting 20 goals and registering nine assists in all competitions. 

The RMC Sports report reads: ”The 26-year-old striker is indeed on the European champions' shortlist, but no discussions have yet taken place between the two clubs. 

”Having virtually secured their 14th French league title, PSG are preparing to play their second consecutive Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30 in Budapest, Hungary.

”Under contract with Atletico until 2030, Julian Alvarez is currently concluding a very impressive season with 20 goals and nine assists in 49 appearances. 

”Signed from Manchester City in the summer of 2024 for €75 million (£65m), the Argentinian international (51 caps, 14 goals) has become one of the Colchoneros' key players under Diego Simeone.”

It is reported by ElDesmarque that PSG are set to make a bid for Alvarez.

However, it is noted that Atletico want a sizable sum and would demand a fee of no less than €200 million (£173.5m).

Hansi Flick has agreed to extend his Barcelona contract until 2028 after the Catalan giants sealed their 29th La Liga crown.

Flick’s current deal was set to expire in June 2027, but he is expected to sign a one-year extension, with the option to prolong his tenure even further. 

Flick told a press conference: "Of course, I'm really happy about this [contract extension]. They have given me and ​my team the confidence to work one or two more years, so for me it's like that.

"I think a lot of coaches would be happy if they get ​a contract of three, four or five years, but in Barca's ⁠case it's good to limit it. I ⁠really appreciate it a lot.

"We go to 2028 and then we'll see if everything is right, and if so, we can decide ‌on one more year. The club has the right, and I have the right - I think it's a good deal."

As per Marca, a consortium led by Sergio Ramos has agreed to buy Sevilla after ”marathon” negotiations. 

Ramos made his first-team debut for Sevilla in February 2004, and returned to the club in 2023 following 17 years at Real Madrid and two campaigns with Paris Saint-Germain. 

The Spanish outfit are 13th in La Liga, three points above the relegation zone with three games remaining.

As per Marca’s report: ”Pending the paperwork and notarisation, an agreement in principle for the sale of Sevilla FC has been reached after a brief two-hour meeting this morning at a Seville hotel between Sergio Ramos, Martin Ink, CEO of Five Eleven Capital, and Sevilla's majority shareholders. 

”The deal was set in motion yesterday after a marathon session where the key players in the process spent nine hours negotiating the details.

"Sergio, along with his brother Rene, left the hotel smiling and giving a thumbs-up, without making any statements to the media gathered at the entrance.”

Borussia Dortmund have announced the signing of teenage French centre-back Joane Gadou from FC Salzburg on a deal until 2031.

Having come through the youth ranks at PSG, the 19-year-old joined Salzburg in 2024, where he has gone on to make 58 competitive first-team appearances. 

Lars Ricken, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, said: ”We have known Joane for a very long time and have been monitoring him since his time at Paris Saint-Germain. Joane will strengthen our squad and play an important role for us right from the start of the new season. We are convinced of his qualities and see enormous potential for his sporting development.”

Gadou added: ”I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the BVB family and can’t wait to pull on the Black & Yellow shirt for the first time. 

”I want to achieve success in the coming years together with my team-mates, the whole club and our incredible fans.”
