The Daily Mail were the first to report of Barca’s interest in the striker, claiming the Catalan giants would revisit the situation after the World Cup.
The Mail added: ”The Bayern Munich striker, 32, has one year to run on his contract and Barcelona are looking at ways to finance an ambitious move.
”Kane is extremely happy in Bavaria and the Bundesliga champions would resist any attempt to sign their star player.
”We understand the player’s camp shut down the conversation after a phone call from Barca exploring a move. It is thought that their focus post-tournament will be a new deal at Bayern.”

Villa put £130m price tag on Rogers

Aston Villa have valued Morgan Rogers at a British record £130m amid interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, the Telegraph reports.
The Europa League winners are reluctant to sell the England international and believe he is worth more than Elliot Anderson, who has agreed a move from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City for £116m.
The Telegraph adds: ”It is understood that Villa believe Rogers is worth £130m, which is £5m more than the British record £125m Liverpool paid Newcastle United for Alexander Isak last summer.
”Villa’s valuation also factors in the fact that Middlesbrough hold a 20 per cent sell-on clause on Rogers, who they sold in a deal worth £15m in the 2024 winter transfer window.
”It remains to be seen whether Arsenal or Chelsea would be prepared meet the £130m valuation, or whether Villa could be negotiated down.
”Rogers made his first World Cup start for England in the Group L victory against Panama and has won 18 caps for his country – six more than Anderson.”

Man Utd will not sell Mount

Manchester United have no intention of selling Mason Mount this summer despite speculation AC Milan could make a £21.5m offer for the midfielder, the Daily Mail reports.
Former United boss Ruben Amorim is now in charge of AC Milan and there were reports the former England international had been offered to the Serie A club.
The Mail adds: ”United are unaware of any discussions over the 27-year-old and are not looking to move him on.
”It’s understood that Mount has no intention of leaving Old Trafford either, and has been working with a coach on an individual fitness programme in Spain to be ready for his return to pre-season training next week. The first group of players are due back at Carrington on July 9.
”Mount has endured a stop-start United career since arriving from Chelsea in a £60million deal in the summer of 2023, making only 72 appearances in three years due to a series of injuries.
”His most consistent run of games came under Amorim, who returned to work with Milan earlier this month after being sacked by United in January.”

Chelsea to sell Slonina

Chelsea are hopeful of offloading goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina to Parma this summer, The Sun reports.
The 22-year-old arrived at Chelsea in 2022 but has never played for the first team.
The Sun adds: ”After loans to Chicago Fire, Belgian side Eupen and League One Barnsley, Chelsea and the young stopper are looking to part ways this summer.
”And Parma have ramped up talks to try and bring him to Serie A.
”The Italian side is managed by Carlos Cuesta, who spent five years as Mikel Arteta‘s assistant at Arsenal.
”Cuesta, 30, has identified Slonina as a top goalkeeper target amid uncertainty over his current No 1, Zion Suzuki.”
