According to the report, Stones is "one of" the central defenders Juventus are "considering" this transfer window.
"The 32-year-old is one of the options Juve are exploring but it has not progressed at this stage," the report said.
Stones spent 10 years at the Etihad, making 293 appearances for the club and winning 19 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Stones is currently away with the England squad competing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
PSG star 'wants to leave' as Premier League giants circle
Paris Saint-Germain youngster Ibrahim Mbaye "wants to leave" the French club this summer, with plenty of Premier League clubs circling, according to reports.
Santi Aouna says that the 18-year-old would like to leave Paris despite "his entourage" preferring he "continue his journey with the capital club".
And according to Ekrem Konur, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are all preparing bids for the winger.
Konur explained that PSG would consider selling Mbaye for around €35 million (£30 million) but clubs are likely to bid closer to €25 million (£21 million) to "test PSG’s stance".
Mbaye made his PSG debut in 2024 but has found regular playing time difficult to come by with competition from Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Newcastle agree deal for Ajax teenager
Newcastle United have come to a "virtual agreement" to sign 18-year-old Sean Steur from Ajax, according to AD.
The midfielder is set to be Newcastle's second signing of the summer after the addition of winger Bazoumana Toure from Hoffenheim for £43 milloon.
AD says that Steur will move to Tyneside for around €27m (£23m) and will sign a five-year deal with the club.
He is expected to travel to England to complete the final details and for his medical in the coming days.
The move comes as a surprise for those at Ajax, AD reports, because Steur was close to agreeing a new contract to remain in Amsterdam.
But he will play under manager Eddie Howe for Newcastle next season, having broken through into the Ajax first team last season.
Steur will likely aim to fill the hole left by Sandro Tonali after the Italian left for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
