The 2026 MotoGP season will see a couple of new faces on the grid. Toprak Razgatlioglu will make the switch from World Superbike, while Diogo Moreira has earned himself promotion from Moto2. Despite the speculation over the futures of Pedro Acosta and Jorge Martin, both have announced they will be staying with their respective teams until the end of 2026.

Marc Marquez wrapped up the 2025 MotoGP world championship with five rounds to spare, so attention is quickly turning to the line-up for the new season.
While the beginning of the latest season saw a raft of changes, the coming edition is set for stability.
Two new riders have been officially confirmed to take their places on the 2026 grid, both making their MotoGP debut.
Elsewhere, rumours about the future of Jorge Martin and Pedro Acosta are yet to bear fruit in the way of announced switches, and both seem ready to continue with their respective teams.
But with multiple riders' contracts up at the end of 2026, expect a flurry of speculation to arrive in the new year.

More of the same for Ducati
Ducati were once again inimitable in the constructors' championship, sealing their sixth successive title in Catalonia at the start of September.
And all six of their riders are set to go again, with Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia both contracted until the end of 2026 at their factory Lenovo team.
Likewise, at Ducati's two satellite teams - Gresini Racing and Pertamina Enduro VR46 - all four of their continuing stars have deals that run until the end of next season.
Acosta was rumoured to be a target for VR46, with Franco Morbidelli in line to lose his spot, but the Italian renewed his contract in September.
He will continue alongside Fabio Di Giannantonio, while Gresini duo Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer are also staying put.

Martin to remain at Aprilia
Martin was the centre of a swirl of speculation during the 2025 season, despite his contract at Aprilia running until the end of the upcoming championship.
The Spaniard was reportedly keen on finding a new team via a break clause in his deal, but the 2024 MotoGP champion opted to continue at Aprilia, along with factory team-mate Marco Bezzecchi.
Meanwhile, Trackhouse duo Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura are both halfway through their two-year contracts.
Consistency at KTM
Austrian constructors Red Bull KTM were close to losing Acosta for the new season, but will instead keep all four of their existing riders.
Acosta and Brad Binder are both contracted at the factory team until the end of 2026, while Maverick Vinales and Enea Bastianini, who both joined Tech3 at the start of the year, will likewise stay at the satellite team.

Honda's fresh face
It did not seem like a given that Luca Marini and Joan Mir would compete once more for Honda's factory team.
But Marini's contract extension in September keeps him in line with his team-mate to continue on the factory bikes until the end of 2026.
Johann Zarco was reportedly close to moving up from the LCR satellite team into Marini's seat, but he is one of only two riders on the grid to have cemented his future until the end of 2027.
Joining the Frenchman is rookie Diogo Moreira, with the Moto2 youngster becoming the first Brazilian since Alex Barros in 2007 to compete in the premier class.
Moreira is taking the place of Thai 2025 rookie Somkiat Chantra.
Razgatlioglu to make MotoGP debut
At Monster Yamaha, there will be no changes as Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins are both contracted until the end of 2026.
But the most hotly-anticipated change of the new season belongs to their satellite team, Prima Pramac.

Toprak Razgatlioglu is on the verge of clinching his third World Superbike title and the Turk is the second new face arriving on the MotoGP scene in 2026.
The 28-year-old is also the second rider to be contracted until 2027 after LCR's Zarco, and he will replace Miguel Oliveira at Pramac.
Jack Miller keeps his spot with the satellite team at least until the end of 2026.
