Just as in her Transylvania Open final defeat to Sorana Cirstea, Raducanu had her blood pressure checked by a physio after second-set struggles. The Briton was playing for the first time since Cirstea comfortably claimed the title in Cluj via a 6-0 6-2 victory.

Emma Raducanu was forced to retire from her first-round match against Camila Osorio at the Qatar Open after the Briton underwent blood pressure checks in the third set.
It was the second successive encounter in which Raducanu required medical attention, after losing in straight sets to home favourite Sorana Cirstea in the Transylvania Open final.
In Doha, the 23-year-old breezed through the first set 6-2, breaking Osorio's serve three times, but appeared to struggle in the second, which lasted 47 minutes and finished 6-4 in favour of the Colombian qualifier.
Osorio broke her opponent in the first game of the deciding set, after which Raducanu called for a medical timeout.
One of the Briton's physios performed several checks, including taking Raducanu's blood pressure as Osorio kept herself warm.
Raducanu was shown the reading from the blood pressure test, engaged in a long discussion with the physio, and eventually decided to play on.
The match's resumption was short-lived, however, as Osorio comfortably took a 2-0 lead with Raducanu clearly struggling and swiftly conceding the encounter.
An ace from the world No. 80 was the final action, with Raducanu immediately walking to the net to confirm her retirement.
Osorio appeared almost apologetic in her celebration, after shaking her opponent's hand and exchanging a few words.

Raducanu admitted that her "energy was pretty low" after losing to Cirstea in Cluj, having battled in a gruelling semi-final against Oleksandra Oliynykova for two hours and 49 minutes.
In the final against the 35-year-old in Romania, Raducanu's first WTA Tour-level final since winning the 2021 US Open, the top seed dropped the first eight games and needed to have her vital signs examined.
"I've just been a bit ill this week and then yesterday's match was so long, and it just took it out of me," Raducanu had explained to Sky Sports.
"Today I just felt like I didn't really have much energy, and it was really difficult, but, again, Sorana [Cirstea] played so well.
"I had no chance if I wasn't 100%, and even if I was 100%, she was still playing incredible tennis, so all credit to her, she deserves this one."
Osorio will face Katerina Siniakova in the next round on Tuesday.
