Arsenal will join an elite list of English clubs who have won the UEFA Champions League and Premier League in the same season if they come out on top against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.

The Gunners have never won Europe’s elite competition, but they could put the gloss on a historic season if they come out on top against the holders in Budapest - live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Victory would surely mean that the 2025/26 Arsenal season would go down as one of the best we have ever seen from a Premier League club.

There is plenty of tough competition, including two treble winners. Surely Arsenal wouldn't beat those two out, would they?

Manchester United - 1998/99

Manchester United’s treble winners have to be in contention to be named the greatest English side of all time.

The Red Devils squad boasted the likes of Roy Keane, Jaap Stam and David Beckham, among others.

The star-studded line-up overcame intense competition from Arsenal to win the Premier League before beating Newcastle United 2-0 in the FA Cup final.

They saved the best moment until last, though, battling back from a goal down in the closing stages of the Champions League final to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in Barcelona.

Arsenal - 2003/04

Arsenal ended a 22-year wait for a Premier League title this season, but their previous triumph will never be forgotten.

The Gunners may have failed to lift the Champions League during the 2003/04 season, but they did something no other side has repeated during the Premier League era.

Arsene Wenger’s team went the entire campaign unbeaten, registering 26 wins, 12 draws and no defeats across 38 games.

It is a truly astonishing feat and one that may never be repeated.

Manchester United - 2007/08

Sir Alex Ferguson ensured that his legacy in English football will never be forgotten when he guided United to their second Champions League crown of his tenure in 2008.

The Red Devils also won the Premier League that season, beating Chelsea to top spot.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and co. inspired United in the Champions League final in Moscow, helping them beat Chelsea on penalties to lift the iconic trophy.

Manchester City - 2022/23

Manchester City stepped out of their neighbour’s shadow in 2023 when they won a treble of their own.

They finished five points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League table and beat The Red Devils 2-1 in the FA Cup final.

They put the cherry on the cake in Istanbul, where they beat Inter 1-0 in the Champions League final to put their names down in the history books.
